Church Family: Ask, seek, and you will find. Matthew 7:7 encourages us to take everything toGod in prayer. With the various activities the summer season brings, don’t forget to take time to pray by yourself, with your kids, your family, spouse and friends. Watch, listen and see God work. This week as you spend time in prayer, thank God for our church family, and the blessing of having this. Pray for Sam and Rowena as they were married this past week and Jocelyn and Dan as they prepare for their wedding on Saturday. Pray for our children and young people that they will look to God for guidance in their life. Pray for Pastor Frank as he continues on his bike tour. Pray for patience and healing for Bertha T, Jordan V, John K, Everett T, Peter B, Brad V, John V, Len D, Johanna T, and the Sutton’s with the loss of a grandmother. Also thank God that Caleb V is making progress! Pray for a complete recovery. We serve a living God!

·  July 9--Office for Social Justice:The Office of Social Justice helpsus love our neighbors in tangible ways. ·  July 16--World Renew:Compelled by God’s deep passion for justice & mercy, we join communities around the world to renew hope, reconcile lives, and restore creation. We do this together through community development, disaster response and Justice.

·  July 23--Food Grains Bank Local: Helping us join together with others. So thateach one of us can go to sleep at night not worrying about having enough to eat.

·  July 30--World Missions:Our ministry focuses on the empowerment and equipping of others. Our methodology is to work towards transformation through worldview change, namely, change from a culturally defined worldview to a biblical worldview, and the development of action plans that make the learning practical and highly contextual.

Iron Springs Announcements:

·  From Council: Because Pastor Frank is on leave this summer, the church family announcements are made ready by the serving elder for that week. If you have something that you like to have included in this weekly announcement, please contact the weekly serving elder (listed in the bulletin). For any other concerns that may arise, please contact your district elder. Thank you.

·  You're Invited: We invite the congregation to witness and celebrate the wedding ceremony of Jocelyn and Dan on July 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the yard of the Dronkelaar's. If it rains that day, we will meet at the church.

·  Congratulations: We would like to congratulate Sam and Rowena as they were married yesterday. We pray for God's blessings in your lives together.

·  Sea to Sea: The Sea to Sea bike ride will be coming through Iron Springs this Tuesday, July 11. Bikers will be arriving from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM at the church for a pit stop, food, refreshments, and some encouragement. Their bike ride for the day starts out at Granum CRC, goes to Nobleford, comes through Picture Butte and Iron Springs, before ending their day at Taber CRC. Come out and cheer pastor Frank and the other bikers as they come through town. Contact Dorothy V.Z, 403-738-4444, if you can help make some sandwiches, goodies, at the church, or be around to hand out food and support them when they arrive. You can follow Pastor Frank on Facebook.

·  The Sound and Video/Building Committee is looking into a Hearing Loop system for the church and are seeking some feedback from those that use hearing aids. This system works on the T-coil found in most hearing aids and just requires you to flip the switch in your hearing aid to T-Coil which takes out all background noise and sends only the microphone loop to your hearing aid. This system is used by churches, arts buildings and other buildings throughout the world. It will require you to sit in the main floor of the church in about 7/8 of the church. Talk to your audiologist about activating this device, found in almost all hearing aids. We would appreciate some feedback if you would be using this system.Contact Landen, Peter or Tony about this. Thank you. For more info see this: http://nchearingloss.org/telecoil.htm?fromncshhh
