Introduction

Q1 Dear Sir, Dear Madam

Welcome to the MAPP survey!

You are kindly invited to take part in an online survey of party affiliates. This survey is part of an international project entitled ‘MAPP – Members and Activists of Political Parties’ (www.projectmapp.eu) coordinated by the Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, and is based on a collaboration between scholars from 10 different universities around the world, including University X in country X.

The aim of the study is to better understand how party affiliates conceive their role and relation to their political party. Your participation is therefore crucial for the success of the research project and we are very grateful for your cooperation. It is also an opportunity to let your voice be heard.

Please be assured that the collected data will only be used for scientific purposes. Your responses are voluntary and confidential. Responses cannot be identified by individual. All responses will be compiled and analysed as a group.

We would appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey. It should take about 20 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact XX
