Directions to Venue:

From Dublin: Travel on the N11 through Ferns and toward Enniscorthy, when you come to the second roundabout (O’Donohoe’s Garages on right) take the third exit, onto Summerhill Rd. Continue straight through roundabout onto Convent Road. At T-Junction (Pettit’s Supervalu directly in front) turn right continue for 100m and turn left onto St. Patricks Street. At T-Junction turn right onto Ross Rd. Entrance to show grounds 150m on left.

From New Ross: Travel the N30 through Clonroche to Enniscorthy. Take left turn onto Carley’s Bridge Rd. (caution narrow winding road) Proceed straight through roundabout onto Ross Rd.

Entrance to show grounds 150m on right just after Gael Scoil.

Waiver of Rights

This form MUST be completed and returned with the entry form

SHOWJUMPING is known to be a HAZARDOUS and DANGEROUS sport and can result in SERIOUS injury to Horse/Pony, Rider and other persons. I acknowledge that I am fully aware of these risks and voluntarily submit and expose myself to the same.

I confirm that I ______have sufficient experience and ability to participate in The Competition.

I waive my/any entitlement to claim against the Officers and/or the County Wexford Agricultural Show Committee and/or the Trustees of any of the aforementioned bodies (including for injury or damage caused by a participant in The Competition) for the recovery of damages or for any other redress for PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE to myself or to my property, and I will waive any claim for any distress, shock or injury or loss or damage from any such accident while I am attending or participating in The Competition.

I understand that it is prudent to insure myself against these risks.

Rules Governing Team Championship

1.  The Team competition is open to Post Primary School Teams of

3 or 4 riders receiving full time Post Primary Education at the same school.

Riders must be under 19 years of age on 01/01/2012.

A Rider & Horse/Pony combination may compete on one team only, this combination of Rider & Horse/Pony must remain the same

for the Individual Championship.

The best three scores count as per Aga Khan Nations Cup Competition.

2.  Height of Fences: Arenas A and B

1st Round 2nd Round Jump-Off

85cm to 90cm 90cm to 100cm 90cm to 100cm

(2nd Round and Jump-Off: Two fences MAY be 105 cm, but not the combination fence.)

3.  Chef d'Equipe appointed by the school must be present with the

team on arrival and throughout the competition.

He/She is responsible for the conduct of his/her team at all times.

4.  A Chef d’Equipe, on collection of team numbers, MUST declare

any change of Rider, with an Official School Stamp and completed waiver form, and any change of Horse/Pony to the Secretary on collection of Team numbers. No further changes of Rider or Horse/Pony will be allowed throughout the competition.

General Rules governing the Championship will be available for the

Chef d’Equipe of each competing team.

Rules Governing Individual Championships

1.  The Individual competition is open to Post Primary School Riders currently receiving full time Post Primary Leaving / Junior Certificate Education.

An Individual competitor who is also competing on a Team

must complete their Individual Round between the first and second round of the Team Championship.

i.e. Jump your individual round after your first team round and before your team second round.

2.  Heights of Fences: Arena C

1st Round Jump-Off

85cm to 100cm up to 105cm

3.  Jumping will start promptly at 8.30 am. Jumping will be in open order, consisting of one round.

Fences 1-8 Junior Fences 5-12 Senior

4.  The Jump-off for this championship will take place in Arena ‘A’ after the Team Championship has concluded. Eligible senior riders will Jump-off for the Senior Individual Bursary followed by the junior riders eligible for the Jump-off for the Junior Individual Bursary.

5. Chef d'Equipe appointed by the school must be present with the competitor(s) on arrival and throughout the competition. He/She is responsible for the conduct of his/her competitor(s) at all times.

6. No substitution of rider will be allowed.

A Chef d’Equipe, on collection of numbers, MUST declare any change of Horse/Pony to the Secretary. No further change of Horse/Pony will be allowed throughout the competition.

General Rules governing the Championship will be available for the

Chef d’Equipe of each competitor.
