You want to know a little more?

Distington Surgery currently has 4 GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants, a dispensary and a lovely administrative team. We have around 4100 patients and we use Emis Web. We have a strong team ethic, including midwives, Health Visitors, District Nurses, Care Coordinator and community pharmacists that you will have access to.

We are committed to the development of all of our team. We have a strong training focus, currently developing GP trainees, medical students and nurse students, as well as growing our own staff from apprentices and training within the non-clinical team.

And if that’s not enough, imagine a practice where the dispensary deals with the vast majority of repeat prescriptions, reconciling outpatient medication requests and so on?

We have a trained clinical administrative team to sift and action letters leaving you with very few letters to deal with each day.

To finish it off, you get to live and work in a beautiful part of the country with low house prices, good schools and access to unlimited outdoor activities.

We’d love to hear from you. Come and have a look around and see how nice it is for yourself!
