IPA Canada Region 2 - Fun Handgun Shoot
This is a FUN match, open to all skill levels, from novice to expert. It will be scored on the Lewis system so all have an equal chance of winning a prize!! The Top Score Male and Female will be awarded a prize.
Please read this match bulletin in its entirety, as we require information from each competitor.
Each competitor needs to complete a separate registration form.

Time: Subject to change, we are currently scheduling 2 relays.
Relay 1 - 11:30 a.m., Relay 2 - 12:30 p.m.
NOTE: YOU MUST ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR RELAY TIME FOR A SAFETY BRIEFING, SIGN FORMS, ETC.

Location: Target Sports, 14 Stalwart Industrial Dr., Gormley, Ont.
Directions: If you are using GPS, the address may be listed as either Gormley or Stouffville.
Take Highway 404 to Stouffville Exit # 37,
On Stouffville Rd., proceed east, past first intersection (Woodbine Ave.) Stalwart Industrial Drive is the first left (north). Street is not well marked but it's just past the sign for the Roma Fence Company.
If you're driving from Toronto, the location is only about a 20-minute drive north from the 401.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR REGISTRATION FEE?
Range rental costs,
One box of ammunition - enough to complete the match,
Rental handgun, if required,
Eye and ear protection, if required,
Cost of range/safety officers - to aid novice shooters,
Targets.
If you have ever entered a match, or bought ammo you know this is onehell of a bargain! LOL
Note: After the match, additional range time, ammo, targets, available for those who wish to continue shooting. Costs for additional ammo, etc… isnot included in the match fee.
THE RULES:
Targets: All stages will be shot on B27 targets
Scoring: Targets will be scored by Match Conveners. Tie scores will be settled by number of 'X"s.
Scoring will be done on the Lewis system. i.e. Highest Score wins first place, Fifth highest score wins second place, Tenth highest score wins third place.
Course of fire:
In order to ensure all competitors have an equal chance, each relay will begin with a loaded firearm on the bench - no holsters allowed. The times listed below are for FIRING ONLY. Between firing strings, you will have time to reload.
Each firing string will begin and end with a whistle.
Total rounds required: 48.
Stage 1 - 18 rounds - 7 yards
6 rounds - two hand hold - 20 seconds
6 rounds - strong hand hold - 30 seconds
6 rounds - weak hand hold - 30 seconds
Stage 2 - 12 rounds - 10 yards
6 rounds - two hand hold - 30 seconds
6 rounds - two hand hold - 30 seconds
Stage 3 - 18 rounds - 15 yards
6 rounds - two hand hold - unsupported - 30 seconds
6 rounds - two hand hold - left barricade OR unsupported- 30 seconds
6 rounds - two hand hold - right barricade OR unsupported - 30 seconds
As we will be ordering/supplying ammo, and we need to arrange sufficient Range Officers to aid novice shooters you need to supply the following information.
