My beloved comrade President,
You might be aware that AIBSNLOA-ChTD is the main source of strength for our CHQ all these years and we have been unscrupulously following the directions of our CHQ in all matters of interest to our dedicated members. As our GS Com.RakeshSethi used to tell, we the members of AIBSNLOA though small in strength are dedicated to the core as far as Association activities are concerned. This being the situation, the Chennai Telephones comrades of AIBSNLOA feel letdown heavily during this recent promotion order to STS-Regular.
Even though the efforts of our CHQ in this particular issue is really commendable, it did not bear much fruit since the expected co ordination amongst the CHQ leaders of all the three Associations was completely lacking despite our repeated requests and reminders on the need to approach and impress the Management in a united manner. With membership verification round the corner, the leaders at CHQ had their own inhibitions for a joint effort and this resulted in the Management gaining upper hand.
Under these circumstances, the AIBSNLOA-Ch.TD after thorough discussion and deliberations during the course of recent two CECs held on 28-11-2014 and 10-12-2014 had given a clear direction to the Circle Body for exploring possibility of unity amongst Executives in the best possible manner that is deemed fit. The CEC also opined that since despite a lapse of about four months from our last CWC at Bhopal, barring a few, none of our Circle organisations could revert back to our CHQ on the proposal to have alliance/ amalgamation with other Association and it is time for AIBSNLOA-ChTD to initiate the process.
Therefore, we had several round of discussions with the Circle office bearers of AIBSNLEA-ChTD with whom we have been maintaining excellent rapport despite differences. Finally we were able to thrash out a proposal for merger of these two Associations at Circle level with a hope that this will definitely roll in to an All India level merger in the days to come.
Comrade, while we have no regret with the functioning of our CHQ or its ability to perform, it is a hard fact to accept that unless and until there is unity, we will not be able to achieve the results despite our sustained efforts. Hence we the members of AIBSNLOA-ChTD are left with no option but to go in for the merger.Hence with heavy heart I am forced to inform our CHQ that AIBSNLOA-ChTD stands dissolved and merged in to AIBSNLEA-Ch.TD
