SCHOOL DESIGNATION

Loxley Hall School is an 11-16 day /residential school with 91 planned places over two sites. The School meets the needs of students with EHCP for Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties with additional needs.

POST

The desired post is for a Head of School KS3 at Loxley Hall, our school site in Uttoxeter ST148RS. The successful applicant will be directly accountable to the Executive Principal, but will be responsible for the day to day management of the school across its KS3 delivery.

The successful applicant will need to be able to work with distinction in both strategic and operational work streams, have a proven record of being creative and solution focused and have the emotional resilience to lead staff by example in a challenging and dynamic environment; the successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to be the ultimate role model, leading from the front and by example.

Candidates who are short listed are required to make time to visit the school as part of the selection process and will be given the opportunity to spend time in all areas of the school.

FURTHER BACKGROUND

Loxley Hall School, alongside its primary partner Cicely Haughton School, are the founder members (previously Federated) of the Manor Hall Academy Trust. Our MAT is based on a collaborative educational model, soon to be expanding to be six Special Schools. The Executive Principal was formerly the Executive Headteacher of the founder members and works primarily across the SEMH schools. Our MAT is driven by the principles, culture and ethos of Loxley Hall and Cicely Haughton Schools.
