Minutes
Call To Order – 6:10P
Address Scheduled Guests – Kevin Keyser – (photographer) and Josh Merrill – football (helping Steve Shefferly)
Review Minutes – Unable to approve, no minutes present
Treasurer’s Report - Financials are strong.
President’s Report – We would like good publicity out of the batting cages at the Salisbury ball fields. Andy reported he would like the website under control and working by November for football and the end of the year for all other sports. Executive board met Thursday.
VPs Report – None
Administrative Assistants Report – Need all Spring delegates to have their fields/gyms to Kristy by the end of October. Field requests for all Douglas County Schools is due Nov 1st at 6A. Kara at Glory Days Trophy’s can do the plaque for the batting cages at Salisbury.
CONTINUING BUSINESS
Committee Reports:
· Baseball – Elite league – trying to get the AYL to take over 4 age groups.
Volleyball – new facility for games. Registration begins in December
· Lacrosse – Getting ready to get started. Planning meeting for budget next week. Anticipate and increase in numbers
· Football – Field issues on turf are getting taken care of. Fines are going down. Coaches are paying their own fines or getting suspended for a game
· Softball – end of the year tournament just ended. Season went great.
· Fall Baseball – one coach referred to the CCC for having an illegal roster. Fall Baseball ends October 16th
· Basketball – Registration closes October 15th. There currently are 42 coaches with 26 practice spaces. New folks taking over the officials for the AYL basketball league. Nov 1 practices start. Partnering with DU to host a Holiday Hoops tournament.
· CCC – will review materials for fall baseball coach - Sorenson
NEW BUSINESS:
Website – Rex made motion to have John Hatcher be our new Parker Youth Webmaster. Ken Allen second the motion. After much discussion the motion was passed 12-0.
