ASPIRA

The Aspira clubwill continue with the collection for the hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands for one more week. If students have any solar lights, lanterns or batteries, please drop them off at room 41. Homeroom moderators please send envelopes with the collection to the Student Affairs office in the Homeroom folder.

BUSINESS

If you were chosen as a STAR in your business class, please report outside the library immediately following the end of 4th periodon Thursdayfor a photo.

CHESS CLUB

The club will play today after school in the library.

FALL SPORTS AWARDS ASSEMBLY/RECEPTION

Our Fall Sports Awards Assembly/Reception will take place at RCHS on Thursday, November 16th. Admission is $10 per person. The Awards Assembly will begin in the gym at6:30 PMand will honor Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams from our Fall Sports. MVP, Coaches Awards, and All Catholic honors will also be presented. The Awards Assembly will be followed by a reception. Tickets are presently on sale in the Financial Affairs Office and need to be purchased no later than the end of the school day onTuesday, November 14th. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Student dress code for this event is the Winter uniform.

GUIDANCE

Seniors who took the October SAT test and would like the results sent to colleges, see Sr. Jane as soon as possible.

KAIROS

Kairos applications for the December Kairos have been emailed to all seniors. They are also available in the main office. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

LACROSSE

There is a parents meeting for anyone interested in playing lacrosse onMonday, Nov 13 at 7pmin the cafeteria.

PAINT BALL

The Roman Catholic Father's Club invites the entire Roman community for aday of Paint Ball. Cost is $50, which includes ALL necessaryequipment. It will take place at Crusaders Paintball in Fairless Hills onNovember 12 from 1- 4:00. See the Father's Club Link on the Roman Website or see Mr. Sinclair in Room 4.

SADD

By now, you know the drill. Pretzels will be sold during lunch periods today.

SWIMMING

There will be a swim team parent meeting on Thursday, November 9 at 7PM in the cafeteria.

TENNIS

Any student, especially the athletic ones that would like to play tennis for Roman this spring should come to a fall workout after 8th periodtomorrowat FDR Park in South Philly. See Mr. Shanahan ahead of time if this is the first time you are participating. All returning players are expected to be there

TRACK

There will be a meeting for any Freshman interested in running indoor track this upcoming seasontoday 11-8 after 8th period in the cafeteria. This meeting is for Freshmen only.

WRESTLING:

A parent's meeting for all wrestlers will be held in the cafeteria at7:00 PMtonight.

It's not too late to join the wrestling team as the season officially begins onFriday, November 17th. The team could use more athletes that weigh 106 and 113 lbs.
