Overview / The services will include and not be limited to:
  • Undertaking technical analysis of the current IT systems, reviewing specifications of future systems (changes, enhancements and/or green field systems) together with the business requirements and solution overviews (designs) to produce technical system level requirements and functional specifications;
  • Participating in business requirements workshops;
  • Participating in the design and development of technical changes that meet business requirements;
  • Reviewing system test cases for completeness;
  • As a member of an Agile core team, actively participating in all aspects of Sprint execution.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Important: All the criteria below must be addressed individually as part of your application

Mandatory/Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage technical level requirements through scope, traceability and maintenance to the business requirements using automated tools such as Application Lifecycle Manager (newer version of Quality Center);
  • Significant experience in drafting functional specifications and liaising with technical developers and testers to ensure they understand the specifications;
  • Sound record of achievement in eliciting requirements, acquiring subject matter and business process knowledge;
  • Significant experience in developing user stories;
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities;
  • Specified Personnel must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA) or be willing to undergo and obtain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline clearance as a minimum);
  • Specified Personnel must be willing to undergo and obtain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
