Abstract—This electronic document is a “live” template. The various components of your paper [title, text, heads, etc.] are already defined on the style sheet, as illustrated by the portions given in this document. Abstract is limited to 200 words.

Keywords-maximum of five and separate with a semicolon

I.  Introduction

Please follow the guidelines below in preparing your camera-ready paper, or your paper will be rejected by the IEEE Xplore. Only IEEE PDF compliant files are accepted for the final (camera-ready) paper. PDF conversions can be done using “primoPDF” which is downloadable free from its website. Use 24 points Times New Roman for the title, 11 points for the author names, and 10 points for the remaining parts. Write the first name before your surname (family name). If you belong to more than one unit/affiliation, please enter the address of the primary organisation (eg, student university).

The copyright form is available from our conference website http://seminar.spaceutm.edu.my/scored2008. Please fill in the form and digital sign it. Save the copyright form in PDF file. Use the paper number for your file names. For example, if your paper number is 1, please name your copyright form as 1_CFP.pdf.

This template, modified in MS Word 2003 and saved as “Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 – RTF” for the PC, provides authors with most of the formatting specifications needed for preparing electronic versions of their papers.

II.  Guidelines of Final Paper

The paper must be written in English and cannot exceed 4 pages (Student and Regular papers) including authors' (author's) names and affiliations, text/equations, acknowledgements, references, and figures. It MUST be written in the double-column format. Figures may be placed after the references. Please number the pages using the format “paperID-page number” as shown. Add header on the first page as shown. Invited Papers and Keynote Papers are specially allowed for 5 and 6 pages maximum, respectively.

The text must be formatted single-space for the A-4 paper. Use 10 points Times New Roman for both the heading and text, whereas 10 points should be used for figure/table captions. Bold face should be used for the heading. DO NOT reduce the paper length, for eg., by changing the margins or font size.

III.  Final Paper Submission and Registration

Please submit online your IEEE PDF compliant paper by Nov. 15, 2008. A zip/rar file that contains Word paper (paperID.doc), copyright form (paperID_CFP.pdf) and registration form (paperID_REG.pdf) must also be submitted to the General Chair at and . Failure to submit any of these will cause your paper to be excluded from the Conference and IEEE Xplore. Non-presented registered papers will also be excluded. On-site payments are accepted. Payments must be cleared by 31 December 2008.

A.  IEEE PDF Express

PDF files must be checked or generated as IEEE PDF compliant files. Please go to the login page at http://www.pdf-express.org/log.asp. Conference ID is scored08x. Final paper online submission is due on 15 Nov. 2008.

B.  Figures and Tables

Place figures and tables at the top and bottom of columns. Avoid placing them in the middle of columns. Large figures and tables may span across both columns. Figure captions should be below the figures; table heads should appear above the tables. Insert figures and tables after they are cited in the text. Use the abbreviation “Fig. 1”, even at the beginning of a sentence.

Figure Labels: Use 8 point Times New Roman for Figure labels. Use words rather than symbols or abbreviations when writing Figure axis labels to avoid confusing the reader.

Acknowledgment

Avoid the stilted expression, “One of us (R. B. G.) thanks . . .” Instead, try “R. B. G. thanks”.
