Panasonic display range promises more screen sizes, thinner bezels and more connectivity

Panasonic launched three new professional digital signage series at ISE 2015, offering class-leading reliability, bright and vivid picture quality, and exceptional flexibility.

The series comprises ten displays in total, the premium 700 cd/m2 LF80, the standard 500 cd/m2 LF8 and the entry-level 350 cd/m2 LFE8 - all of which are Full HD LED backlit displays.

The LF80/LF8 line-ups feature robust IPS panel technology for wide angle visibility and excellent resistance to image burn, and are engineered for continuous 24/7 operation.

They come with a bezel width of just 6.5 mm, a depth of less than 60 mm, daisy-chain capability via DVI-D for up to 10 displays, and USB cloning.

The LFE8 series also features LED backlight for high picture quality and low energy usage. Displays can be configured in 5 x 5 multi-screen video walls by zoom in function and feature bezel width of 7.5 mm1, portrait mode2 capability, and USB cloning.

To reduce cabling complexity and eliminate the need for set-top boxes, Panasonic has added a Simple Signage Player aboard all displays that can decode a variety of video formats from a USB memory device.

The LF80 seriesdisplays include DIGITAL LINK™ connectivity, which enables 1080/60p video, audio, and control commands to be routed through a single LAN cable of up to 100 metres.

With the exception of the LFE8 Series, all displays feature Quick Failover and Failback that automatically detects and switches to an alternative input if the video signal to the primary input is interrupted.

“With stunning brilliance in bright ambient light, outstanding reliability, and flexible versatility, it’s never been easier or more affordable to create an arresting digital signage installation,” said Enrique Robledo, European Marketing Manager at Panasonic Visual Systems Solutions. “Best-in-class connectivity and sophisticated styling will be persuasive factors for those seeking to update a visual communications system.”

The LF80 and LF8 (available in 42˝, 49˝, 55˝)series will commence shipping in July 2015, while the LFE8 (available in 43˝, 48˝, 55˝, 65˝)series ships from May 2015.

Visit the Panasonic booth1-P20 at ISE2015, Amsterdam RAI from 10th–12th February to see a demonstration or to obtain more information on these and other Panasonic professional display and projector solutions.
