B.Reading Comprehension (12 marks)

-Read the following passage then answer the questions below:

So travel has always been part of being human. However , few people used to travel much because journeys were long, hard and dangerous. The difference today is that they are short ,easy and safe. As tourists , we just buy our air tickets and book our accommodation through travel agents or on the internet. Or we simply choose a package holiday, which provides everything for one fixed price .Then we pack our luggage ,drive to the airport , get on a plane and away we go! The journeyfrom Africa to Australia took our early ancestors 100,000 years: mine took less than a day. Wonderful! Or is it !You see , our age of mass travel and tourism has brought real problems. Of course ,there is the pollution that planes leave in the sky and that resorts create on the ground .But here ,I`m really talking about the pollution that we individuals cause. It`s truly horrific to see the mess that people sometimes leave in the world`s most beautiful places .And the more who visit ,the worse the problem. As a travel writer ,I suppose I help to create this problem since I persuade people to visit those beautiful places .The thing I want to say to my readers though is this: Wherever you go , leave it as you find it .Take only photographs .leave only footprints.
