Hours:37.5 hours per week

Job Purpose:

Required for advertising, marketing and web design. At all times, work must be produced accurately to meet client needs and within publishing deadlines.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design of newspaper adverts, promotional and marketing material and digital and social media content for clients
  • Work with the team to develop creative advertising, marketing and web designsolutions for clients print and digital products
  • Ensure that all work is produced at the highest possible graphic / web design standard whilst working to strict weekly deadlines
  • Meet clients to review design work, agree and implement any changes
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts for clients advertising and marketing needs
  • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
  • Support creative ideas, designs and concepts for graphic and website development projects
  • Work closely with sales and marketing personnel on ideas generation.
  • Keep up to date with emerging and new technologies in media and particularly with design programs.
  • Contribute effectively as part of the design, web, sales, marketing and production team

  • Previous experience of graphic design in print and digital media

  • Excellent CSS and HTML skills
  • Knowledge and experience of PHP / SASS / Java Script / jQuery and MySQL
  • Experience of content management systems
  • Responsive Frameworks
  • Wireframing
  • Digital strategies planning & content marketing
  • SEO strategies and techniques
  • Proven ability to work to strict deadline
