Paediatric Continence Care Conference calls for abstracts

ERIC, The Children’s Bowel and Bladder Charity is calling for abstracts to be submitted for poster presentation at their Paediatric Continence Care Conference in Birmingham on 9 October, 2018.

Any health care professional from paediatricians to playworkers who have recently completed research or projects relating to paediatric continence issues are welcome to apply. Childhood continence problems remain a poorly researched public health issue. This is an opportunity to share your findings with a large, multi-disciplinary group who share a commitment to improving the well-being of children living with these distressing problems.

ERIC have made the application process as simple as possible by providing a step by step guide to abstracts/poster presentations, tips on what makes a good poster and examples. These resources along with submission guidelines can be downloaded from the ‘Abstracts/poster presentations’ page on the conference subsite: It’s also possible to see the conference programme and register for the event here.

The closing date for the submission of abstracts is 27 July 2018 and all authors will be notified of the outcome by email during September.

Abstracts will be checked by theERIC Professional Advisory Committeeand those approved will be invited to create a poster presentation for display at the conference.Authors of the three best posters will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation in the closing session of the conference, followed by an award for winning entry.

If you require support with your abstract and/or poster please contact ERIC via or call Jackie on 0117 301 2102.
