Introduction:

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to São Paulo on occasion of the scientific meeting “ Advances in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery”, sponsored by Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit of Heart Institute – University of São Paulo Medical School.

The two days scientific program will focus on “Cardiopulmonary Bypass, Coagulation and Perioperative Management”. The invited international guests will give special and practical attention on perfusion techniques, problems of coagulation, inflammatory response to CPB, with a brief sight in basic sciences.

Our speakers are recognized to have substantial knowledge and to added many contributions to treatment of children with congenital heart disease.

The organizers believe that bringing together respected international scholars in these specific topics will have a significant impact on treatment of pediatric cardiac patients in our daily practice.

Course Highlights:

  • Quality of care
  • Basic Science
  • Optimizing Cardiopulmonary Bypass in Neonates
