On July 30, 2008 the Pacific County Courthouse and its’ Long Beach Annex office will become poll sites. They will continue to be poll sites through August 19, 2008, Primary Election Day. RCW 29A.46.110 states: “In-person disability access voting must be available starting twenty days before the day of a primary or election and ending the day of the election. During this period, the county auditor must make available a voting system certified by the secretary of state for disability access.” The Pacific County Courthouse and the Long Beach Annex will be the places for persons with disabilities to access a voting system.
Also, all campaign material such as signs, buttons, brochures or other items related to a campaign cannot be closer than 300 feet from any entrance to the courthouse.
