Re: Career Day
Dear Sir or Madam:
We are preparing an exciting program for our students – Eastern Middle School’s Annual Career Day, scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The program is designed to expose students to career pathways and to help prepare them for a bright future ahead. We are hoping that presentations from varied professionals will expose our diverse student population to careers that they may not otherwise consider.
We believe that it is critical to the success of this learning event to have a wide range of careers represented. We would be pleased if you or someone from your organization could join us on May 6, 2016. As a presenter, you will be asked to provide two (forty minutes each) interactive presentations that include information about your career, education, and a typical work day.
If you (or a colleague) are willing to participate in this educational event, please complete the attached form and return it to the Eastern Middle School Counseling Office no later than March 23, 2016.
We believe that an event such as Career Day provides a natural opportunity for a partnership between our school and the local business community to serve our students and contribute to their academic interests and achievement. We look forward to your participation.
