Committee Break- outs
Committee Reports:
Fundraising
Talked about doing weekly online auctions to increase the amount of money for PAC scholarships. Figuring out raffle if we are going to be asking for items for either auction or raffle. The group will set an email for fundraising. Not selling books but will be doing bake sale at the lectures. Form will be linked to email about fundraising. Services and tangible items are asked for to help with the raffle and online auction. Paper work needs to be filled out if there is liquor. Air BnB for holidays would be a something great to add for auction.
Registration

Communications

Scholarship
There have been fewer applications so far this quarter. 75% of tuition is being paid to those in most need. Can get everyone funded at the level they need to the quarter. We had 52 applicants this quarter. Budget is under 11,000 with fewer applications. They are making changes to files to help the chart and excel making it easier. Emails will go out soon to treasurers.

Latinas Symposium: Wants PAC work with the event. The event would mainly sponsored by us, but PAC would not be in charge of putting on the even. Would still be run, as a community-supported event would take place in May. Pac would be the agent/ the funds would flow through PAC to support the event
Motion moved to support Latina Symposium. Motion supported. New account signers will include: Max Suver, Tania Hino, Betty Williams and Carolina Gomez Marx.
Motion movedto allowLaura to access to the wells Fargo checking account. Motion approved.
