Participants’ Release for Off-Premises Activities

EVENT:
Event Description: / 2017 United Way - Rock & Ride / Motorcycle Ride
Event Date: / December 9th, 2017
Event Location: / Start: Palm Beach Gardens ~100 mile, Police Escorted Ride –returning to Palm Beach Gardens.
Event Sponsor: / United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Division,
and its officers, directors, employees and agents(“Sponsor” or “Sponsors”).

The undersigned Participant understands that certain activities related to this Event are inherently dangerous, and Participant represents that she or he possesses the necessary expertise to participate in the Event, and that she or he will exercise the highest standard of care.

Despite the fore-mentioned, Participant hereby releases Sponsors from any and all liability, allegation, judgment, cost expense, reasonable attorneys’ fees, cause of action, loss, or damage whatsoever, including, without limitation, death or injury to any person or damage to any property, resulting from or arising out of Participant’s participation in this Event, howsoever arising.

Moreover, Participant covenants and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sponsors from any and all liability, claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) to or by third persons, including but not limited to Participant’s family members, agents, and employees, related to Participant’s participation in the event. In the event Sponsor should bring an action for enforcement of this indemnification provision, Participant agrees that Sponsor shall be entitled to be awarded its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs if Sponsor prevails in such proceeding.

No verbal or written modification of this Release Agreement shall be binding unless in writing and signed by the Sponsors.

  • Pratt & Whitney Photography/Film/Video Model Release

For value received, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby grant to Pratt & Whitney, its assignees and licensees, the absolute and irrevocable right to use any and all photographs/film/video of me, and to use, re-use, publish, and republish these photographs, film or video, in whole or part, individually or in conjunction with other photographs, film or video, for the purpose of illustration, promotion, exhibit, advertising, publishing, and trade throughout the world.

I hereby release and discharge Pratt & Whitney from any and all claims and demands arising out of the use of these photographs, film or video, including without the limitation, any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect and/or approve such photographs/film/video and/or any work in which such photographs/film/video may be incorporated.

I am of legal age or the legal guardian of the subject and have the right to contract in my/his/her name. I have read the foregoing and fully understand the contents. I agree that this release shall be binding on me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
