5  Distributable Material Preparation

This boot camp provides material that can be distributed in a printed or electronic format depending on the class type (in class or live virtual).

Documents can be printed using any available printing service. Following are some best practices:

·  Print cover pages in color on glossy cardstock

·  Black and white is sufficient for document files

·  Print Student Manual in duplex as it is a lengthy file

·  Bind printouts using spiral binding as it lays flat when in use.

Some alternatives for electronic material distribution include:

·  Burn to CD/DVD and distribute to each student in class

·  Copy to portable media (e.g. USB drive) and “pass around the room” at the beginning of class

·  Email to students prior to class.

Known Issues

1.  When the hosted environment option comes online, the README and environment setup documents will have to be modified accordingly.

Hosted Environment chapter could be updated to describe the internal Oracle image that can be used for lab environments installed on oracle owned or Oracle rented machines.
