Details: The role of Outbound Customer Sales Executive covers the development and implementation of sales and administrative activities at our offices in Chesham. You will join our dedicated sales team and be fully involved in all aspects of providing sales support to our customers. Working with, and reporting to the Sales Manager. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience in a commercial environment.

Primary Objective: Provision of high quality sales and customer service. Identifying opportunities to sell to both existing and new customers. Generation of sales leads and customer development Sales order processing and working with our marketing team to deliver sales initiatives

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Sales administration
  • Implementation of sales initiatives
  • Customer advice and service
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers, optimising quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Outbound calling and sales lead generation
  • Participate in internal and externals sales activities
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquires using appropriate methods.
  • Provide information on performance and results to the Sales Manager
  • Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to develop profitable and sustainable relationships.
  • Develop new sales opportunities and products.
  • Support for the sales team leader and the wider team.
  • Attend sales meetings
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : You will have a graduate level qualification in a business related field with reference to sales or marketing, and ideally experience in a directly relevant role whether as a placement or permanent position. You will be able to demonstrate experience of providing customer service and an ability to communicate successfully with people in a business / sales environment.

Work Environment: Based at our premises in Chesham, you will be at the heart of a successful established sales team and will be able to draw on many resources to deliver the tasks required. This is a full time role, standard hours 40hrs per week, some attendance at events and exhibitions will require flexibility.
