Preparing for Winter

From Mark Poeller, Construction & Maintenance Supervisor

Winter will soon be here!!!

Fall has arrived and winter is not far off. It’s time to start preparing for the cold and the snow. You should think about having your car checked and winterized. Get your snow blower out change the oil in it and the spark plug. Make sure it starts and runs properly. Watch for the sales for ice melt and shovels. When we have a light snow and it’s fluffy, it is easier to blow the snow off your driveway and sidewalks with a leaf blower rather than shovel or use a snow blower and it’s also quicker. Next month I will have a list of things you can do with your house that can help you lower your heating bills.
