Ordering New Supplies From Office Depot

STEP / ACTION / OBSERVE
PREREQUISITE: You must have an Epylon account in order to purchase supplies from Office Depot through their system. Contact Lynne Adamson at 730-7345 to get an account setup.
1 / Launch the Internet Explorer software and go to:

NOTE: You may want to save this page as a "Favorites" / Epylon web site appears in browser window
2 / Click on "Login" button in upper right of page / Login page appears
3 / Enter your Epylon user name and password then click "Go>" button
NOTE: Epylon login is case sensitive. / Epylon EXPRESS Welcome page appears with your name on it.
4 / Click on "Shop by Suppliers" button on left side of page. / Epylon SHOP page appears.
5 / Scroll to bottom of page, click on drop down arrow, then click on red "Go Shopping" button / Office Depot to Epylon Interfacing Web Site Appears in new browser window.
6 / Move to the Office Depot browser widow and click on "Continue" button / Office Depot Product Category web page appears.
7 / You can proceed by (1) entering the Office Depot product catalog number in the "Search" field to retrieve the item to purchase or (2) "Select Product Category", then subcategory, and finally the specific product you want. Fill in "Quantity' field with the number of items you want for each selection, then click "Add to Cart" button. / "Items in your Cart" list appears showing what is currently in your cart for purchase.
8 / Scroll to bottom of page and click "continue Shopping" button. Perform step No. 7 again until all items are selected. / Office Depot Product Category web page appears.
9 / When ready to check out, click on "Go To Cart' button in middle of red heading bar near top of page. If you want to adjust quantities, do this and then click blue "Update" button at left, bottom of page. / "Items in your Cart" list appears showing what is currently in your cart for purchase.
10 / To check out click on blue "Checkout' button at bottom, left of page.
NOTE: Allow time for the Epylon and Office Depot systems to communicate the items. / Office Depot final check out page appears with your shopping list on it.
11 / Click blue "Continue" button in middle of page at bottom of Office Depot list. / "Your Shopping Is Complete' message appears.
12 / Click red "Save Cart" button in middle of Epylon page
13 / Scroll to bottom of page and select items from list you want to add to a requisition by checking box to left of item, or simply click red "Select All" button / Items appear checked.
14 / Click red "Add To New eRequisition" button at bottom right of form. / New eRequisition Details page appears.
15 / Fill in requisition with appropriate information then click on red "Continue" button in very bottom of page in right corner of form. / eRequisition appears updated with new information for review
16 / NOTE: If there are errors in the requisition these will appear at top center of page just over the form in red. They must be corrected before you can proceed.
Click red Edit button at bottom right of page and correct any errors then follow step 15 above. / Completed eRequisition appears.
17 / Click on red "Check Budget' button at bottom right of page. / eRequisition Inbox appear showing a status on new eRequisition of "Pending Check"
18 / Click "Refresh Work" button to update status. / Status should change to "Checked' indicating account number is good and funds are available.
19 / Click on the title of the new eRequisition. / eRequisition form appears.
20 / Click on red "Forward" button at bottom right of display / Routing page appears.
21 / Select next approver and click on red "Submit" button.
NOTE: Status will change to "Submitted for Purchasing" when all approvals are completed. / The eRequisition Inbox appears showing this requisition with a status of "Submitted for Approval"
