NOTES
a)The actual numbers of heats on the day will depend upon the number of athletes who have reported to the marksmen15 minutes before the race is due to commence. Races may be combined at organiser’s discretion.
b)Qualification for finals criteria – Two heats – 1sttwo plus four fastest losers. Three heats – 1st plus five fastest losers. Four heats – 1stplus four fastest losers. Finals to have a maximum of eight competitors only. Where there are more than 4 heats there will be a Semi Final with fastest 16 progressing from heats– in this case the finals will be rescheduled within the programme.
c)In all races, if 8 or fewer competitors have reported to the marksmen before the race is due to commence, the event will be run as a straight final and the final allotted later in the programme will be cancelled. Conversely, if MORE than 8 competitors report for an event designated as a final, heats will be run and the FINAL run later.
d)In300/400 and 800m races if over eightcompetitors have reported to the Marksmen five minutes before the race is due to commence, graded races will be run and the times combined.
e)Junior competitors may, if they so wish, transfer to the senior event instead.
f)Late entrants will be allocated a lane by the marksmen in a suitable heat, and do qualify for prizes.
h)Stadium blocks will be available – no personal blocks will be allowed.
i)The U11 60m races will be run in school year groups (the same year as in the Minors meetings earlier in the summer)

Events - Field
Notes;
a)In events for distance:
- Competitors under the age of 13 years will be limited to THREE attempts.
- Competitorsunderthe age of 15 or17 years will be allowed FOUR attempts only.
- Junior/senior and Ambulant competitors will be allowed six attempts each.
b)Those competitors who win medalsshould report to the presentation desk 20 minutes after event has finished
c)Competitors should report to the event for warm up 30 minutes before the start of the event (45 minutes for Pole Vault and High Jump) or as instructed by the announcer.
d)No event will start before the time given, the field teams will do their best to keep to the times specified in this programme, but it is the athletes own responsibility to be aware of the progress of the meeting events.
e)Once registered competitors may leave the warm up or event to compete in a track event. However the competition will continue. The athlete will be allowed to take a throw/jump within the round where they re-join.
