((2015 Standards for Educational Leadership: 3, 5, and 6 and Model Principal Supervisor Standard 8) / In order to ensure that all students within a district have access to equitable instruction and assessment, supervisors must build the capacity of educators to effectively and systematically use data to implement a multi-tiered system of supports.
Use effective protocols for uncovering institutional biases that impact student learning in order to collaboratively address the barriers that are an impediment to the cycle of teaching and learning. (2015 Standards for Educational Leadership: 1,6, 7,10 and Model Principal Supervisor Standard 8) / In order to ensure that all educators act with cultural competence and collaboratively confront assumptions that could negatively impact student learning, supervisors must engage staff in deep discussions to develop solutions to obstacles and promote a common set of expectations and beliefs that guide instructional practice and the academic success of all students.
