Our Mission:
Operation Marry Me Military (Operation MMM) is sponsored by Oak Island Photography & Weddings, Inc of Oak Island, NC. Several local vendors have teamed up to give one lucky active military bride and/or groom a completely free beach wedding for up to 50 guests! Each entry must be postmarked by July 30, 2011 and must include an application, short essay on why they should be chosen and a picture of the two. A review panel of six military affiliated people will decide the lucky winners and announce on August 15, 2011. The wedding must be held on 11-11-11 (Veteran’s Day) at 4pm.
Sponsorship:
To be a sponsor of this “Operation”, you simply need to donate a service of value. We will not accept coupons or discounts, it must be a completely FREE service that you are donating. Each sponsor must be a business based in Brunswick County. You must have a physical office location in Brunswick County. If you would like to donate a service, please fill out our Sponsor application and mail it to: OKI Photography & Weddings attn: sponsorship 5008-1 East Oak Island Drive Oak Island, NC 28465 All Sponsorship entries should be in by March 25, 2011. We plan to have the website up and complete by March 31, 2011 to start our campaign. All sponsors will receive recognition on our website with a link to your company website and/or contact information.
**Does your business not offer a service that would be useful to the bride and groom? How about donating Gift certificates to local restaurants on behalf of your business!…It is a GREAT way to be involved!**

Oak Island Photography & Weddings, Inc. plans to run ads in local papers in Jacksonville, NC and Fayetteville, NC. We encourage every business, whether you sponsor or not, to post our link on your website, and tell everyone you know. This is a wonderful way to support your community and help out in this down economy, and supporting the ones who fight for our freedom. Please post our flyer in your building.
