INSURANCE DEMO SCRIPT

Positioning Statement: Field agents spend 3-4 hours per day typing reports. To reduce average claim costs, leakage and expenses, claims departments need to increase speed and efficiency. This demo highlights the speed and accuracy benefits of dictation– particularly for the department’s worst typists. A claims adjustor could just as easily dictate the material presented here into a digital voice recorder while out in the field, and transcribe the text when he returns to his PC.

Inspection Script:

Broken pipe under the kitchen sink, with related water damages

Upon inspection I discovered the vinyl floor in the kitchen was buckled and the subsequent subfloor was buckled due to water damage. I also discovered damage to the bottom shelves of the surrounding kitchen cabinets.

The insured stated the damage occurred on October 3, 2008. He noticed it early in the morning when he felt the flooring was a bit wobbly, and found the water pipe leaking under the kitchen sink. The insured had the pipe repaired immediately.

EvaluationScript:

The cause of loss was erosion of the 20-year-old pipe. Wear and tear is excluded in this policy. A sudden and accidental discharge of water occurred, and therefore the ensuing water damage is covered. There is no coverage for the actual plumbing parts.
