LIABILITY:

Neither the Organisers, nor any person acting on their behalf, accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever.

Endurance riding is an energetic discipline requiring prolonged, continuous physical effort from both horse and rider. It is therefore relatively easy to become over-heated and/or dehydrated even on a cool day and on shorter routes. All competitors are strongly advised to take precautions to avoid this risk by wearing comfortable lightweight clothing, carrying water with them if possible and crewing horse and rider at appropriate intervals.

ENTRIES:

  • Class 1 £10.00 per riding entry
  • Classes 2-5 £15.00.
  • Special offerBOGOF – for classes 4 and 5 riders can buy one entry and get one free for a friend (mix and match). This is because we are using a new route and require experienced competitors to test it under competitive conditions. BOGOF entrants will be asked to GPS the route, aim to ride at 10kmph or over and be prepared to complete a (very brief) feedback form afterwards.
  • Adult riders accompanying under 13 year olds (one adult per two children under 13) and required escorts for disabled riders FOC to enter class. All other adults pay usual class fee.
  • No entries on the day.
  • All class distances given are approximate and may be varied by +/-5% as per the PC/EGB rulebook.
  • NB in classes 3-5 placings cannot be awarded until the last rider in that class has completed the ride and presented to the vet. If you do not want to be included in the PF placings (because you don’t want to have to hang about for results) then please indicate this on the entry form.
  • Entries close 24/4/2015. Please note that this will be strictly adhered to in order to allow paperwork/maps to be sent out.
  • Cheques payable to WCPC.
  • Please enter as early as possible as we may have to limit entries.
  • Queries by email please – especially in the week prior to the event.
  • Maps etc will be sent by email. Please ensure that your email address is written clearly on the entry form! If you do not have an email address please enclose A4 or A5 SAE with large letter postage for maps/times and send completed forms to:
