THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (GARVALLY CRESCENT, ALLOA) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2006

The CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf and after consultation with the Chief Constable in accordance with Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the said Act of 1984, hereby make the following Order:-

1.This Order may be cited as "The Clackmannanshire Council (Garvally Crescent, Alloa) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2006" and shall come into operation on the 19th October 2006.

2.The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

3.No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on the length of road specified in Schedule 100 to this Order other than in the direction specified in the said Schedule and shown on the plan annexed and signed as relative hereto.

4.The restriction imposed by this Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restriction or requirement imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or by or under any other enactment.

THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (GARVALLY CRESCENT, ALLOA) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2006

The Clackmannanshire Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) which will designate the section of road described in the Schedule 100 as a One Way Traffic System which is considered necessary in the interests of road safety.

FULL DETAILS of this proposal are in the draft Order which, together with a copy of the relative plan and a Statement of the Council's reasons for promoting the Order is available on and may be examined at the Council's Offices - Greenfield, Alloa, FK10 2AD; Lime Tree House, Castle Street, Alloa, FK10 2EX and any Council Library/CAP, during normal office hours free of charge for three weeks from 24th August 2006.

Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send details of the grounds for objection, in writing, to Gillian White, Chief Executive’s Services, Greenfield, Alloa, FK10 2AD by 14th August 2006 quoting the reference OW004GW 5-6-453.

A copy of the Order which, together with a copy of the relative plan is available on and may be examined at the Council's Offices - Greenfield, Alloa, FK10 2AD; Lime Tree House, Castle Street, Alloa, FK10 2EX and any Council Library/CAP, during normal office hours free of charge.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the aforesaid Act or that if any requirement therein has not been complied with, may, within six weeks from 19th October 2006 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
