I understand that some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may cause injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.
I hereby waive and release the hereafter referred to as “OTSDT” (On The 'Spot' Dog Training LLC) its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog. I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session or any other function while training on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
In consideration of and inducement to the acceptance of my application for training by OTSDT, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless OTSDT, its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all claims by any member of my family or any other person accompanying me to the surrounding area there to as a result of any action by any dog. You’ve just made a great decision! Obedience Training is the best investment you could ever make in your dog and you will be reaping the rewards for the rest of your dog’s life! Training can help your dog become a well-mannered and obedient companion who is pleasant for both you and others to be around. It’s never too late or too early to start training your dog but the ideal situation is to start training your dog as a puppy. It’s much easier to train your dog to your rules before he/she develops his/her own!
On The Spot Dog Training LLC is proud to offer a very modern and gentle method of training. Your dog will learn quickly and happily without force. In the Foundations Level 1 Class we will be training good etiquette by teaching our dogs to sit, stay, down, come, leave it, settle, loose leash walking and more!
When participating in Foundations Level 1, do NOT bring your dog to the first class. The first class, Orientation,will be an introduction of what to anticipate in the class, what to prepare for as well as sharing hopes and expectations for the dogs. You will also find out at this time what types of reinforcers and equipment you will need. Two skills will be demonstrated that you will start practicing with your dog. Having a session without the dogs will give you a week of confidence building for both you and the dog before you come into the group encounter. All family members are welcomed to come to all classes.
If participating in Foundations Level 2, you will bring your dog to every class. Bring your usual reinforcers.
When returning your registration form, don’t forget to attach a copy of your dog’s vaccine record.
The Ozark classes are held the 4H Building in the Finley River Park. Look for On The Spot Dog Training signs to signal where you turn in. Call me on my cell phone at 619-4811 if you have trouble finding it.
