  1. That I am the owner/occupant of the premises ……………………………………….which falls under an un electrified area and that I wish to obtain an electricity connection at the above premises for ……….. purpose.
  1. That Iam aware of the Regulations 30 read with Regulation 18 Table 2 of the Delhi Electricity Supply Code and Performance Standards Regulations 2007 notified by Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission in terms of which NDPL can electrify the area and release the connection only as and when it has received deposit of consumer’s share of necessary development charges to cover the electrification requirement for supplying electricity to 50% of the prospective consumer base. Further, I am also aware of the fact that it might take a very long time for the 50% of the prospective consumer base to inhabit the said area.
  1. That I am in urgent need of a connection and cannot wait for the collection of electrification cost to cover the 50% of the prospective consumer base.I hereby request NDPL to grant me the abovesaid connectionat the earliest possible treating the same as an exceptional and deserving case as I shall be put to a lot of hardship and financial loss in case the same is not provided to me at the earliest.
  1. That in view of the above I hereby undertake to bear the 50% of the total cost of electrification of the said connection at above premises.
  1. That I understand if the scheme, prepared for release of my connection, have multiple applicants, TPDDL will not be held responsible for any delay in receiving the payment from other applicants and the scheme will execute only after receiving the payment from all the applicants.
  1. That I undertake that I will not move any court of law or other forum/tribunal for reviewing my request for grant of connection on payment of said charges or seek any refund of the monies paid by me in pursuance of the above .
  1. The deponent agrees that Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) has the right to use the electrical infrastructure / installations / transformers /sub-stations etc. installed on cost sharing basis for extending supply to other consumer(s)/ improving network reliability of the area as the case may be and the deponent has no objection to the same
  1. That I undertake that any failure on my part in complying with the above covenants may lead to withdrawal of electricity supply at the said premises by NDPL without any notice as well as initiation of proceedings under law for recovery of amount incurred by NDPL in respect thereto.
  1. That I declare that this undertaking has been executed by me out of my free will, understanding and consent and without any pressure, coercion, force or threat.

I request that the above mentioned connection may kindly be granted to me at the earliest.
