On Motion of Mr. Zahn, Seconded by Mr. Roberts , the Following Resolution Was Offered

On motion of Mr. Zahn, seconded by Mr. Roberts, the following resolution was offered:

RESOLUTION NO. 120554

A resolution granting permission toKenner Italian Heritage, Inc., 20 Normandy Drive, Kenner, LA 70065, represented by Ms. Christy Cannella, to erect four (4) temporary signs not to exceed 4-foot by 8-foot at the following locations provided that the placement of all signs are approved by the Jefferson Parish Traffic Engineering Division and that none of the said signs cause any sight obstructions for motorists: one on the Parish right-of-way on Power Blvd. near Kawanee Avenue; one on the Parish right-of-way onWest Esplanade Avenue at Power Boulevard; one on the West Metairie canal bank near the bridge over the Soniat Canal; and one on the West Napoleon Avenue canal bank between N. Atlanta and Mississippi Avenue to advertise the Festa Italiana from March 22, 2013 – April 7, 2013. All signs must be removed by April 7, 2013.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson Parish Council of Jefferson Parish, acting as governing authority of said parish:

SECTION I. That permission is granted to Kenner Italian Heritage, Inc., 20 Normandy Drive, Kenner, LA 70065, represented by Ms. Christy Cannella, to erect four (4) temporary signs not to exceed 4-foot by 8-foot at the following locations provided that the placement of all signs are approved by the Jefferson Parish Traffic Engineering Division and that none of said signs cause any sight obstructions for motorists: one on the Parish right-of-way on Power Blvd. near Kawanee Avenue; one on the Parish right-of-way on West Esplanade Avenue at Power Boulevard; one on the West Metairie canal bank near the bridge over the Soniat Canal; and one on the West Napoleon Avenue canal bank between N. SECTION III. That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Kenner Italian Heritage, Inc., c/o Christy Cannella, 20 Normandy Drive, Kenner, LA 70065, and all departments in connection therewith.

The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
