TEAM CHALLENGE: For 2008 we are introducing the team challenge. In all categories except the Junior 10-14 and Citizen’s race, there is an additional $50 prize to the team scoring the most Texas Cup points in that category.
*Juniors 10-14 will race and be scored together for Texas Cup, but awards will also be given to the top five 10-12 racers.

NEW Course: the .8 mile lap is new this year. It still takes in The Square around the old Denton County Courthouse, but it now has a few more turns (all 90degrees) and some elevation change. S/F will be on Hickory before Locust. Course runs counter-clockwise.

-Registration Race Day: Registration closes 20 minutes prior to each event.
-$10 “late fee” to register on day of race. Please pre-register. Thank you.
-$10 one day license available for Category 5 Men and Category 4 Women racers.
-If the minimum field size of 10 riders is not met, promoter reserves the right to combine fields and adjust prize list.
-All USCF rules are in effect. Racers must wear a Z90.4 or Snell approved helmet anytime they are on a bicycle.
-Junior Rollout for to be conducted 10 minutes prior to start.
-Riders deemed out of contention by the Chief Referee may be pulled.
-Second race is $10. Third race is $5.
-Free lap rule in effect. Wheels in/ Wheels out.

From Dallas:Denton is approximately 40-45 minutes north of Downtown Dallas. Take I35 E north directly to Denton. Take Exit #465B, which is Fort Worth Drive and turn right. Follow this into downtown. Take either Elm St or continue on Carroll Blvd (Fort Worth Dr turns into Carroll Blvd). The course is about 1.5 miles from I35E.
From Ft Worth: Denton is approximately 30-35 minutes north of Downtown Fort Worth. Take I35 W north directly to Denton. Take Exit #85A SOUTH onto I35 E. Then take Exit #465B and turn left onto Fort Worth Drive. Follow this into downtown. Take either Elm St or continue on Carroll Blvd (Fort Worth Dr turns into Carroll Blvd). The course is about 1.5 miles from I35E.
