DAWN CAREER INSTITUTE EXPANDS TO BETTER SERVE AND SUPPORT STUDENTS
WILMINGTON, DEL. (May X, 2011) – After 30 plus years of educating, empowering and expanding minds, Dawn Career Institute recently expanded something else – its location.
To provide even better services to Dawn Career Institute students, DCI recently expanded its territory to encompass a new location within the Wilmington community. This expansion will allow DCI to provide students the opportunity to learn and study in spacious new classrooms and further access to computer labs, student resource centers, and an expanded Career and Student Services Division, designed to engage and prepare students earlier in the academic process.
“The new facility gives us a great opportunity to change even more lives through our exceptional educational programs and positively impact our community through continual preparation within our Student and Career Services Divisions,” said Jena Zapata Antonini, Chief Marketing Officer at Dawn Career Institute.
The new space will also enable Dawn Career Institute to better enhance both the students’ and faculty’s experience by providing additional space for mock interview offices, employee and student break rooms, and workshop areas for employee training, as well as wireless Internet for interactive learning.
“This new building makes Student and Career services a focal point of our institution and allows us to continue to support our great mission,” said Zapata Antonini.
For students, the value of Dawn’s Career Services is entering the workforce with confidence.
“The minute I left Dawn, I was ready on the job,” said Garlynn Johnson, a student who graduated a couple of years ago. “I was ready because of everything I learned.”
The main campus has served Dawn Career Institute well for many years and will continue to do so. But with growth, an additional location was a necessity. The end result is a testament to the school’s mission to serve and support its students.
