The Role

MPS + Fringe

We are looking for an enthusiastic Class Teacher who has high expectations, can motivate, support and lead their pupils by example. The candidate will need excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humour. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a child centred approach to education. In your letter of application please outline your strengths and interests.

DBS checks

The school is committed to the safeguarding of children and as such complies with the DBS Code of Practice in regard to criminal record information and that we will not discriminate unfairly against any application on the basis of a conviction or any other information revealed.

Person Specification

Essential:

Degree Educated. QTS Status or NQT welcomed. High Expectations. Interpersonal Skills. Subject strengths. A sense of humour. Child centred approach to education. An understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding Procedures. Warm and Friendly.

Desirable but not essential:

Please outline your strengths/interests in your letter of application

Willingness to lead an extra curricular activity. The successful candidate may be asked to lead a subject area (NQT’s in their second year).

Requirement for references

Two references will be required for all applicants invited to interview. Open references will not be accepted. The headteacher or his representative will contact referees prior to the interview and request they complete a reference form.
