EXT. WAREHOUSE- NIGHT

A man, slightly around 30 years old was standing next to a car watching as boxes are picked up by a crane and lowered down onto a truck- he was on a cell phone talking to just one of his many clients, he was a Russian- name Dimitri

DIMITRI

Ok- the shipment is being docked right as we speak-

MAN2 (O.C)

Is it all there?

DIMITRI

All of it, every single fucking cent-

MAN2 (O.C)

And for the police?

DIMITRI

I don’t think we’ll have to worry about them anymore-

MAN2 (O.C)

Good news, very- very good news… just bring it in- all of it.

DIMITRI

You don’t even have to continue sir-

The crane stops as the last box is lowered onto the truck-

DIMITRI (CONT’D)

It’s already done-

MAN2 (O.C.)

Make sure no one follows you- no one

DIMITRI

Who’s to follow me?

(loads his gun)

All of the cops are already taken care of-

MAN2 (O.C)

Make sure it stays that way Dimitri-

DIMITRI

Nothing to worry about-

MAN2 (O.C)

We’ll see that once we have the money- good bye…

Dimitri looks over towards the driver that was in the crane-

DIMITRI

Load em’ up- we leave in five…

The driver shakes his head “yes” and then he walks over towards the truck and enters, he tries to start the engine- but no luck… Dimitri looks towards the side opposite the car…

DIMITRI

Tonight’s looking like it will only get better-

(he begins to smoke)

The driver continues to struggle with the engine and then all of a sudden the truck explodes… Dimitri looks behind-

DIMITRI

What the hell-

Dimitri runs towards his car and then he enters. Once again- there was problem with the engine-

DIMITRI

Please… start!!!! Start damn it!!

The engine begins- and this time, it was safe- Dimitri breaths hard and looks towards the sky.

DIMITRI

Thankyou father-

Dimitri begins to drive off and onto the streets of New York City…

EXT. STREETS OF NEW YORK CITY- NIGHT

The car rounds the corner and then continues racing down the streets at near impossible speeds.

DIMITRI

Come on- come on!!!!

All of a sudden he hears laughing from somewhere, the laughing was that, that in horror movies only a demon would make. Dimitri begins to sweat thinking that it was the devil, himself that was chasing him- not the devil… something else, something worse- Dimitri rounds a sharp corner and then someone gets ran over- this would not go down easy… all it was, was a drug transfer- but, to his pursuer it was much- much more… it meant death- a head for an eye. Dimitri’s engine starts to fail on him- he looks towards the gas meter, it flinching back and forth- it was near empty!!! Dimitri jumps out of the car and rolls out- and then there was the laugh again- and a voice, which itself still sounded like a demon sent from hell.

VOICE (O.C)

There is no where to run- not from me…

Then Dimitri sees a streak of flames on the streets, as though in a trail- it was a trap, this is the way that demon, well- whatever it was wanted him to go. And then he sees a man in the distance riding towards him on a motorcycle- Dimitri waves frantically in the air-

DIMITRI

Please- I need you’re help… something- someone is chasing me!!!

Then the man on the motorcycle comes into view- but, it wasn’t a man- it was a demon. His whole body was engulfed in flames, his head was that of a skeleton… he smiles as though enjoying the blood he always shredded.

VOICE

I know-

The voice, which has haunted him- belonged to this man, this motorcycler demon- and then he remembered the stories in the news of a man that went around murdering criminals- no matter what they’re crime, all of them- dead; no mercy shown, all guilty- some proven innocent, but to this man… no one was innocent. Never guilty until proven innocent- always guilty… always- dead.

DIMITRI

Ghost rider-

The demon just keeps on driving towards him-

DIMITRI (CONT’D)

Please man- please, show mercy-

Ghost rider, just continues to drive forwards…

DIMITRI (CONT’D)

I don’t want to die-

Ghost rider reaches him and takes out spiked chains and throws it, like a lasso around Dimitri’s neck- he begins to bleed…

GHOSTRIDER

You should have thought of that before you took lives-

Dimitri begins to shake backing up-

DIMITRI

I’m innocent-

GHOSTRIDER

Innocent? Try telling that to the ten people that you killed in cold blooded murder.

DIMITRI

I’m innocent!!!! I’m innocent!!!! The court-

GHOSTRIDER

I know all of your sins- you can’t run anymore Dimitri- I saw everything… and nothing you can do will let you escape-

DIMITRI

I’ll do anything-

GHOSTRIDER

You will do nothing any more Dimitri- you have been judged…

(he touches his flamed hand onto Dimitri’s head

Ghostrider holds the lasso as he pulls it around to the car- he attaches the spiked chains around the back of Dimitri’s car.

DIMITRI

Please man- don’t kill me!!!!

Ghost rider opens the front speed and starts the engine- it was full!!!! Then he starts the cord forward and it drives off at rapid speeds- Dimitri attached to it, being dragged on the streets by the spiked chains. Ghost Rider gets back onto his motorcycle and starts the engine…

GHOSTRIDER

And you were proven- guilty…

Ghostrider drives off not giving a care in the world.

INT. APARTMENT FLASHBACK

Dimitri walks around in the room-

DIMITRI

So you say you didn’t do anything against the boss?

BUM

I sware I didn’t do anything!!!!

DIMITRI

You’re fingerprints were everywhere- now it’s your turn…

BUM

Please man- show me mercy!!!!

DIMITRI

Mercy?

(smiles)

What is mercy?

Dimitri take’s the bums toungue and cuts it off-

EXT. NEW YORK CITY STREETS

Dimitri is there crying being pulled by the car-

DIMITRI

Please- stop, please!!!!!!

INT. APARTMENT - FLASHBACK

A man in a suit walk through the halls in his apartment- Dimitri was there.

DIMITRI

You forgot your keys-

Dimitri picks up the keys and hands the keys to the man-

MAN

I didn’t forget my-

Dimitri plunges the knife in- and the man falls down

EXT. NEW YORK CITY STREETS

Dimitri is still crying as his skin begins to ignite-

DIMITRI

Please- I’ve had enough… please!!!!

All of a sudden many images of his sins flash by- and he begins to further become incarcerated in flames. The camera follows Dimitri and then yank- he is decapitated. His sins- released. All of a sudden Dimitri’s head and body explode into flames-

INT. JACK’S MANSION- MEETIN ROOM

Jack McHall was a man around the age of 60, he had brown hair- which was obviously dyed and blue eyes. He wore a striped suit, which made him even look worse. He was just still living in the days of old- but, no one would even dare say that to him, because chances are they would sooner or later wind up dead and by his hands, none the less! Jack looks back and forth between the two men in his office- and then the phone rang, Jack answers it-

EXT. STORAGE HOUSE- NIGHT

A man in his twenties, obviously a new comer was on the phone- his was Dave Wallance.

DAVID

Sir-

JACK (O.C)

How is it?

DAVID

It never arrived sir-

JACK (O.C.)

Never arrived? What the fuck happened to ten pounds of cocaine!!!! God damn it!

DAVID

Sir- I know you’re angry.

JACK (O.C.)

Angry? No- not angry, furious-

DAVID

We had one of our men down here go check on the truck-

JACK (O.C.)

And?

DAVID

It was burned sir- right down to the crisp, as though a bomb just blew off- it’s all gone sir… all of it.

JACK (O.C.)

All of it? I paid ten fucking grand for it! I want the cocaine found- and I want it found now. Oh and when you do- kill the man responsible- no, better yet bring his body to me- death isn’t enough…

DAVID

Sir?

JACK (O.C.)

I was fucked to many times in this god damn city- it’s time someone pays the piper. Where is Dimitri?

DAVID

Disappeared sir-

JACK (O.C.)

Cocaine, that can disappear- a person can not… I want him found-

DAVID

That’s the very thing sir- we found something strange out here-

JACK (O.C.)

What exactly did you find David?

DAVID

Burnt ashes… as though something was burnt to a crisp- we also found something that you might find interest in… a calling card of some kind- steel chains.

JACK (O.C.)

Yes- bring them to me… and shut down the facility there- the last thing I want on my hands is all of my money gone- this wasn’t a robbery, it was a murder- he knows who we are… now shut down-

DAVID

Who is it sir?

JACK (O.C.)

There’s only one man it can be- the Ghost Rider.

(he hangs up)

David hangs up the pay phone and looks around, then he lights up a cigarette.

INT. MOTORCYCLE WAREHOUSE

Johnny Blaze was in a warehouse full of motorcycles he looks around. And then his eye meets a news paper clipping CRAIG SIMPSON MURDERED and then after it another article, date just two days later THE GHOST RIDER. Johnny opens up a big book of what looked like a diary. It was dated from 05/ 25/ 84.

JOHNNY (V.O)

I have sold my soul to the devil- at the cost of my mentor Craig “the Crash” Simpson… I’m never able to see what I do at nights, the nights are his- the Ghost Riders… my life is in the day-

EXT. NEW YORK CITY STREETS- DAY

Jack was right- the next morning the scene of the murder the previous night was a hot spot, only hardly anything was found- Detective Daniel Chase was in charge.

Dan looks over the crime scene-

POLICE1

What do you think?

Dan looks over towards the burnt street marks- he bends down to take a closer look… wax- then he looks towards the destroyed car…

POLICE1 (CONT’D)

What is it?

DAN

Did you ever hear of the Ghost Rider?

POLICE1

The one in the tabloids right?

DAN

He’s behind this somehow-

Dan stands up-

POLICE1

I thought he was just made up- you know like Bigfoot or something…

DAN

This so called “Ghostrider” was my first case- he exists… I saw him before-

POLICE1

Is it true what they say? The head of a demon- body of a man

DAN

Everything is true- even the fire…

POLICE1

You think he was behind this? But- question is where’s the corpse?

DAN

With the rest- burnt ashes-

(examines the streets)

POLICE1

You’re saying-

(points to the ashes)

That’s him-

DAN

It’s what he does- it’s how he works justice…

POLICE1

So there’s something behind this Ghostrider story after all?

DAN

Let me just say this- this isn’t the first time we saw this type of crime scene…

POLICE1

Where is he now?

DAN

Long gone by now- it’s day… he only comes out at night-

POLICE1

How do you know-

DAN

I don’t… it’s just a hunch-

Another cop runs up to Dan.

POLICE2

Sir- there’s something you should see…

Dan shakes his head “yes”- Dan follows him and enters his police car.

EXT. WAREHOUSE- DAY

The police car arrives and parallel parks- Dan steps out…

POLICE2

We followed the trail-

Police2 points towards an exploded truck-

POLICE2

We found this-

Police2 walks over to the truck and puts his finger against the back of the truck-

POLICE2

Pure Cocaine

DAN

So, this wasn’t just a small gig-

POLICE2

What do you think was going down? Who was it going to be sent to?

DAN

I don’t know, I don’t know-

Dan looks over the burnt wax, it seemed somehow out of place-

POLICE2

I don’t get it- what’s with the path?

DAN

He wanted us to know-

POLICE2

I don’t get it- why would he want us to know? Chief- he was in hiding before, and then suddenly he comes out?

DAN

This- Ghost Rider, usually goes after just street thugs- this time… it seems that he was taking down either a whole cartel or a family…

POLICE2

Yeah- but, why now?

DAN

Maybe- once, he wants our help… he’s giving us the clues- the only leads that he wants us to play out…

All of a sudden a news car pulls in, Dan is obviously furious

DAN

How did they know what was going down!!!!

Then the front door of the news car opens- and then Steve McCory walks out, he was around twenty years old and your average news persona-

STEVE

Dan- lucky seeing you here…

DAN

Wish I could say the same-

STEVE

What do you think about this one?

DAN

What the hell are you talking about McCory!

STEVE

It’s just that, almost every Ghost Rider case- so to say, you’re there first… it just seems so- repetive- doesn’t it?

DAN

How did you find out about this McCory- it’s a top secret case- we didn’t release it yet to the public…

STEVE

What public? I run a tabloid- it’s my job to be a-

DAN

Prick?

STEVE

That among many other things- now tell me does this case revolve around this so called menace to society, or in my books local hero, just taking down the bad guys- or does it not?

DAN

Do you have a badge McCory?

STEVE

No- but, this is my scene too- I do one of the most important jobs-

DAN

And what is that?

STEVE

I send the news to the public- and you can’t argue with that- no stories, no cases- and your little Ghost Rider campaign is so we say a dieing rat out in a pile of lions.

DAN

Why don’t you scram McCory- let the real professionals do their job, most people in their right mind concern the tabloids as being a joke- you’re not helping him, you’re making him out to be a one lined joke- now beat it McCory, before I have a reason to arrest-

STEVE

Wo- wo wo… fine- you want me gone- I’ll go, but this is my case too- live with it.

(looks towards the truck- the door opens to reveal a camera)

INT. MOTORCYCLE WAREHOUSE

Johnny Blaze was busy with his paperwork… he worked in a warn down Motorcycle store… most didn’t know his name even- his real name… a man walks in- around twenty

JOHNNY

Hello- are you looking for anything particular today?

The man looks towards him-

MAN

Yeah, I’m looking for a Harley-

JOHNNY

I think I have exactly what you’re looking for my friend-

Johnny leads the man over to the part of the room where there were Harleys- the man points to the newest Harley-

MAN

How much is that worth?

Johnny smiles, laughing shaking his head “no”

JOHNNY

How much money do you have exactly?

MAN

How much does it cost?

JOHNNY

I don’t know- ten million, tops…

The man smiles and places his suitcase onto a boxed crate behind them and he flips it open-

MAN

How much does it cost?

Johnny looks at the opened briefcase- there was at least twenty billion in there-

JOHNNY

You think I’m an idiot?

Johnny takes a hundred- and then he takes a match from out of his pocket-

JOHNNY

This money is obviously fake-

Johnny burns the money and it catches on fire- no sign of it being a fake.

MAN

That comes out of your pay… how much?

JOHNNY

Twelve million-

The man takes out bandaged stacks of 100’s

MAN

Eleven million, Nine thousand, Nine hundred.

JOHNNY

So- I expect you had to do an awful lot to get this kind of money.

MAN

You have no idea-

JOHNNY

Tell me-

The man, not knowing seals his fate- death.

MAN

You know who Sam Locks is right?

JOHNNY

Can’t say I ever heard-

MAN

He runs this drug transfer business.

JOHNNY

Really? What kind of drugs are we talking about here?

MAN

The mother load- cocaine…

JOHNNY

Cocaine?

MAN

You wouldn’t believe the shit that we’re workin’ man!

JOHNNY

You have no idea-

INT. POLICE HEADQUARTERS- HALLWAYS

Dan walks down the hall- with howling laughter following him. He reaches his desk and sits down, there is a picture of a skull laughing- and under it was written… I see stupid detectives- Dan takes it and crumbles it up, throwing it into the garbage. Then he hears his boss yelling-

BOSS

Dan get in here- now!!!

Dan gets up and walks towards the entering door- inside was Jack!!!

DAN

You wanted to see me sir?

Jack smiles laughing-

INT. MOTORCYCLE WAREHOUSE

Johnny hands the keys over to the man-

JOHNNY

Have a good day-

The man tosses the keys in the air and then walks away- the engine starts. Johnny looks- the man was gone, he takes out a tracker-

JOHNNY

You just sealed your fate-
