This opening is for the spring/summer semester only. Potential of renewal but not guaranteed.

Job Description:

•To conduct literature reviews on interprofessional education and practice (5%)

•To conduct literature reviews on health-related topics, abstract articles, and compile information into summary documents (5%)

•Researching and assisting with grant writing for securing resources for activities in the OVPH (5%)

•Researches evidence based practice (10%)

•Assist with obtaining resources for the development of foundational interprofessional education materials for students, clinical preceptor faculty and academic faculty (10%)

•Facilitating research and assessment design, data collection, and analysis of health related outcome measures (20%)

•Survey development/administration, data collection and entry, preparation of preliminary result (20%)

•Other duties as assigned (25%)

Qualifications:

•Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student in a graduate program at GVSU for a minimum of nine credit hours per semester.

•Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills

•Knowledge of basic computer applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

•Proficient in database searches and use of statistical software including SAS

•Experience in design and administration of surveys, prefer statistical analysis experience

•The ability to organize work time and manage projects

Payment:

A stipend of $4,000/semester and tuition waiver covers up to 9 credits of tuition per fall and winter semesters, up to 6 credits for spring/summer semester, not to exceed 24 total credits per academic year.
