Case registered for furnishing false information :- Preet Vihar Police Station registered a case against one S.S. Bhatnagar R/o Hari Nagar for furnishing false information in order to evade his arrest yesterday. According to Local police, Constable Vikas Kumar of P.S. Preet Vihar went to Sh. S.S. Bhagatnagar residence for executing non-bailable warrant of arrest which was issued by the Hon’ble Court of Shri Sunil Chaudhary, M.M. Karkardooma Court in a complaint case u/s 138 Negotiable Act. One person who introduced himself as Panna Lal S/o Late Sh. Har Swaroop met at the given address and told the Constable that he was father of S.S. Bhatnagar. The Constable was further told that Sh. S.S. Bhatnagar had gone out of Delhi. A report was accordingly submitted in the Hon’ble Court. Surprisingly, the accused along with his Counsel appeared before the Hon’ble Court on 4-10-2007 and claimed that no body had come to his residence for serving NBW and blamed the Constable for fabricating false report mentioning Panna Lal.
