of Unifight World Championship among students (men and women)

1.Aims and tasks
• continue to promote "Unifight"among students and geographic expansion of the participating countries;
• strengthening international sports relations and exchange of experiences betweenacademies and the national federations;
• identification of top sportsmen among students in "Unifight."
2.0rganization, time and place of competition
Unifight Championship is held from 17th to 22nd, October, 2016 in Russia, Kaluga region, the town of Medyn, st. Kirova 100, Sport hall "Russian Fight".
3.Administration of Unifight World Championship
The general management of the World Championships is assigned to the Organizing Committee. The direct management of the competitions is held by referee board. Refereeing of Championship held in accordance with the Rules of Competition of "Unifight" approved by the Congress FIAU.
Chief referee of Championship - Chairman of the referee board of FIAU, International referee-class Chumlyakov Andrey (Russia).
Chief Secretary of the Championship – by appointment.
The program of competitions:
October 17:
• arrival of teams, accommodation;
• 12.00 - 17.00 - Mandates Commission, weighing,the draw;
• 17.00-18.30 - official training on an obstacle course;
• 18.30-19.00 - a joint meeting of the organizing committee, referees and team leaders;
At the end of each competition day held a meeting of the board of referee and the representatives of teams.
October 18:
• 10.00-17.00 - preliminary duels ofLight Unifight till 1|2 of final;
14.00 – 15.30 - break;
16.00 – 18.00 - preliminary duels of Light Unifight;
• 18.00 - opening ceremony of Unifight World Championship ;
• 19.00 –semi-final duels of Light Unifight .
October 19:
• 10.00 - 15.00 - final duels of Light Unifight in all weight classes. Awarding of the winners and champions of Light Unifight;
- 16.00-17.30 - weighing, draw and Mandate committeeof Classic Unifight;a meeting of the board of referee and the representatives of teams.
October 20:
• 10.00 - preliminary duels of unifight in all weight classes;
- 14.00 – 15.30 - break;
• 16.00 - preliminary duels of unifight in all weight classes till 1|4 of final.
October 21:
• 10.00 – semi-final duels of unifight in all weight classes.
14.00 – 15.30 - break;
16.00 –continuing of semi-final duels till the final.
October 22:
• 10.00 –the beginning of the final duelsof unifight in all weight categories for men and women.
Awarding of the champions and winners of Unifight World Championship among the students, then the closing ceremony of the Championship.
4.Participants of competitions:
The present Regulation is a challenge for the World Championship among students.
On the day of arrival to the committee on the admission of participants Competition submit the following documents:
- Application in two copies of the university in the form number in accordance with Annex 1;
- A document certifying the identity of the person;
- Insurance against accidents at the time of the World Championship on each athlete;
- Student card or record book (with a mark of full-time), or a certified copy of the diploma of the university in 2015-2016.
The team of university consists of:
• Men (from 18 years not older than 27 years old on the 1st of January of running year) - 9 categories: under 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 95 + kg, the head and the couch of delegation;
• Women (18 yearsnot older than 27 years old on the 1st of January of running year) - 7 weight categories: under 48, 52, 57, 63, 70, 78, and 78 + kg, the head and the couch of delegation.
Uniform of athletes (Unifight): kimono red and blue, gloves to hand combat with open toes with the logo «Unifight», boxing helmet with the logo «Unifight», shoes with soft soles without edges, shin guards and the rise of the foot, a protective shell , cap, sneakers to overcome the obstacle. Helmet and gloves should match the color of the kimono. Protective equipment should be under the kimono. For women, an additional special equipment for breasts. Each team must have at least 2 certified knives «Unifight».
Referee to serve the World Championshipcaused by the decision of the Refereeboard of FIAU.
Uniform of the referee: black pants, white shirt with short sleeves, black butterfly, soft sports shoes in black, black socks, red - blue sleeves.
5. Competitions
The procedure for the draw and order of matches is set (after the Credentials Committee and weighting) a board l of referee based on the number of participants in each weight category.
Each athlete is required when passing the credentials committee to present an individual set of red and blue kimono, because each athlete will be assigned a unique number that will be sewn on the kimono.
Championship is held as a double event:
1. Passage of the obstacle: the obstacle is knife throwing from a distance of 3 meters and shooting at a target (balloon) of pneumatic weapons from a distance of 15 meters. Slip Athlete target when throwing a knife or punished for shooting an additional obstacle to overcome, which is preceded by the line of fire and throwing knives (usually a "pipe"). If in this case the opponent gets to the target, then he (the opponent) is awarded 1 point in the second round (for throwing and shooting separately). The athlete, who finished first in the obstacle course with a difference of more than 10 seconds, and an additional premium assessment at 1 point, which is credited to him in the 2nd round, each subsequent five seconds benefits accrue additional 1 point.
If the participant, who finished second, behind the first participant in more than half of its travel time band, it is removed from the competition, and his opponent is awarded to a clear victory. Winning band counts as one win the round.
2. Fight in the ring: the preliminary duels in the ring - 2 rounds of 2 minutes of pure time, semifinal and final duels - 4 rounds of 2 minutes of pure time (for men). Break between rounds - 1 minute. For women, two rounds of 2 minutes in all phases of the competition.
3. Competitions are held on the Olympic system of leaving after the first defeat.
• If the weight category will be 3 or 4 players, the competition in this title may be held in a round robin.
Unifight-Light is carried out as double events:
- Overcoming the Obstacle Course. Winning the obstacle course shall be regarded as one won round. The obstacle course shall include throwing of the knife from the distance of 3 m and an airgun shooting at the target (a toy balloon) from the distance of 15 m. Missing the target while throwing the knife or shooting shall be penalized an additional passing of the obstacle preceding the firing and knife throwing line (“a tube” as a rule). Meanwhile, in case the opponent hits the target, the opponent shall be awarded in semi-light competition 1 point in the second round (separately for throwing and for firing).
The contestant having finished first the obstacle course with the time difference exceeding 10 seconds shall receive an additional bonus point, scored to him in the 2nd round. A bonus point shall be scored for each subsequent 5 seconds.
In case the time gap between the first contestant and the contestant having finished second is more than a half of the time the winner spent for overcoming the course, this contestant shall be removed from competition, and his opponent shall be awarded a clear win.
- Match on the Tatami or the Wrestling Mat Applying Various Fighting Techniques.
In the competition held according to the light universal fight rules, contestants shall conduct contest only in a standing position without the ground fight. Throws of the opponents onto their knees and hands shall not be judged as valid. After execution of a throw, the contestants shall be returned to the fighting stance, and the round shall continue. If the contestant is awarded 10 or more points as compared to the opponent, the round shall be stopped before the end of the time allotted for the contest, and the mentioned contestant shall be declared winner of the round. If the contestant executes a neat throw of the opponent - any throw on the back, the contest shall be stopped, and the contestant shall be awarded a clear win in the contest.
Technical actions shall be judged in compliance with the Rules of the Competition.
The overall winner of the double event shall be declared a contestant having gained victory ahead of time on the obstacle course or in the contest on the tatami, if this is not the case, the overall winner shall be declared the winner of 2 rounds out of 3.
If a contestant wins 2 first rounds: a round on the obstacle course and the first round on the tatami, the contest shall be stopped and this contestant shall be declared the winner.
On all stages of the competition (preliminary, semi-finalandfinalcontests), the contests on the tatami foryouths and male adults shall be 2 rounds 2 minutes of actual time each; for female youths - 2 rounds 1.5 min. each, for female adults - 2 rounds 2 minutes each. Break between the rounds shall be 1 minute.
The competition shall be conducted according to the Olympic system in a single-elimination format.
1In case of 3 or 4 contestants in a weight category, the competition in this weight category may be conducted in a round robin format.
2Incaseof 1-2 contestantsintwoconsecutiveweightcategories, they may be united in a single, the heavier weight category. This decision must be made and approved the day before the draw by the minutes of the joint meeting of the Refereeing Committee of the Championship and the managers of the sports delegations of the member countries of the Championship.
6.Determination of Winners
The winner of the final combat takes the first prize, the one who lost - the second, the ones who lost the semi-final combats gets the third prizes. Places of the other sportsmen are identified according to the round in which they finished the competitions.
In a case of the circle system the winner and prize places will be raffle of the largest quantity of the victories, of the won rounds, of the least quantity of the penalty etc.
For determination of winners and champions among the teams: the 1st place - 7 points, the 2nd place – 5 points, the 3rd place - 3 points, 5-8 places - 1 point.
To calculate the points for team place.Other athletes can participate in the individual competition.
7. Rewarding
Champions and winners will be awarded with medals and diplomas of FIAU.
The teams - Champions and winnerswill be awarded with cups and diplomas of FIAU.
The couches of the champions and the winners will be awarded with diplomas of FIAU.
Accreditation of each athlete in the competition is 1500 rubles. Athletes who have paid accreditation for Light Unifight World Championship are exempt from contribution to Unifight World Championship.
Participants who do not win a single match, but because of the small number of participants in the weight class, were among the winners, prizes are not awarded.
All teams must have two national flags and the national anthem on CD for the opening ceremony and closing ceremony.
Each national team must be in the form of their country.

9. Request
The present Regulations is a challenge for the World Championship. The participants arrived after the call must provide the credentials committee by proxy or in person application in two copies, documents, ID cards, as well as insurance against accidents at the time of the World Championshipfor each athlete.
To get it to enter Russia foreign participants of the Championship must confirm their participation not later than the 1st of October 2016 sending photocopies of passports of all the members of the delegation, place of work, position, work and home address.

10. Additional Requirements
Advertise in the Championship with the permission of the Organizing Committee and sponsors of FIAU. Confirmation of participation (number of participants indicating the weight class) World Championship please report till the 1st of October.
