Hi Team,
It has been an incredibly busy period for OASIS across all branches and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your dedication and hard work.
We are closing in on our 20th acquisition to date. This number made me step back and think about all we have accomplished in such a short period of time. The integration of each business we acquire is a complex step-by-step process but one we are proving to manage extremely well. Each new branch is an incredible milestone for our Company – a milestone very few reach. It’s a testament to the outstanding team we have assembled and the rapidly scaling business we are creating.
Expanding into new markets not only gains us new clients on the business front but also new team members, new locations and potentially new services.
While we’ve taken tremendous steps forward, we are far from finished and see more opportunity ahead than ever before...
Keep up the great work.
Thanks and warmest regards,
Brian
OASIS Explainer Video
Launched last week on our website & social media accounts, we are delighted tointroduce our first OASIS Group video. To helpdifferentiate ourselves from the competition, target small to medium businesses & to bulk up our presence online, it was decided that an 'explainer video' would be the ideal tool.
An explainer video is a short, informativevideothat captures & retains viewers moreeffectivelythan just text but mostprominently, it is transferrable & trackable across various formats.
With the second video already in motion, we haveset up a YouTube and Vimeochannel. The videos are housed here & can be downloaded or linked to. We ask that everyone shares the video with clients, vendors, etc. By working together, we can help to strengthen our brand from the inside out.

OASIS - Social Media Presence
Social media has made it's mark! It’s almost a part of everyday life to glance at one account or another throughout the day. For this purpose, OASIS is very active in this area & there are countless reasons why:Helps increase brand recognition & loyalty•Contributes to better SEO rankings
Generates traffic to our site•Allows us to be more accessible to new & existing customers
Leads to higher conversion rates, etc.
Here’s how it can work: A LinkedIn user comes across OASIS through a shared post from a team member. Same case the following month. With continued presence & post sharing, it eventually leads to greater brand recognition and service awareness with the plan that it will increase the likelihood of a lead, should the need for our services arise.
So after all of that, why are we telling you this? If each team member with one or more of the below accounts follows us & shares our posts, this will dramatically contribute to a stronger online presence for OASIS. We are not asking anyone to open an account but if you are active on social media, it would be greatly appreciated if you could be a part of our online community. That way, by working together as a team, we can visually track the impact will have.
For direct access to our accounts and to start following, click on the icon you are a member of. Updates are posted on theseaccounts daily. Also, just to note, by following any of our accounts/pages this DOES NOT give OASIS access to your accounts. OASIS is set up as a business account, and not a personal one.
To those that are already followers & sharers, thank you very much!!
New Innovative Pallet Racking System in Zwolle
Through the acquisition of UTS Archive Services, which took place August 2015 in Zwolle, the Netherlands, we acquired a building whereby 50% of the space was used for box storage but the remaining area was not in use. In our business, the challenge is to utilise each location as efficiently as possible so unused space is not preferred.
During neogiations, OASIS decided to close one of three buildings – the Haarlem building, as it did not comply to the high record management standards set within our company. Within this building there were approx. 100,000 standard boxes stored on shelves & approx. 1,400 pallets with boxes (registration on pallet level). As we did not have enough pallet space in our other buildings across the Netherlands, we had to come up with a plan to store the boxes & pallets from the Haarlem building. The solution was the new pallet shuttle storage.
Installed the first week of September, this system provides high density pallet storage for static archive. The pallets are stored 21 pallets deep & are picked up by a shuttle to bring the pallet to the front where a team member can pick it up with the reach-truck.
Compared to the normal pallet racking with multiple aisles for picking & put-away, this pallet shuttle racking system only has one aisle in front of the racking from where you can access the shuttle system (all pallets). With this new high tech shuttle system, we can store 1,135 pallets in a very small area.
