The Ohio Academy of Nursing Homes is now seeking presenters and topics for the 2010 AnnualConvention Trade Show set for October 20-22, 2010at the Hilton Columbus at Easton.
Presenting at the Academy’s Annual Convention is a great way to share your knowledge with others in the long-term care industry, receive recognition from your peers and gain exposure for your company.
Please note that while speakers may attend all parts of the convention at no cost and obtain any applicable CE, they are not entitled to any compensation.

Guidelines for Presenting:
• All presentations MUST be in increments of 1.5 hours in length. Please keep this in mind when developing your session topic. It is crucial for convention credentialing that the presentation lasts the full 1.5 hours. Presenters that end early may not be considered for participation the following year.
• OANH will only be printing a small number of handouts, with most attendees receiving their handouts via CD. This process will make it necessary for speakers to have their handouts to the Academy in a timely fashion and by the deadline detailed in the speaker acceptance letter. By agreeing to present you are agreeing to abide by this deadline.
• OANH will be making all PowerPoint presentations available to members after the convention via PDF files on the OANH website. By agreeing to present you are agreeing to make your presentation available via our website and release OANH from any liability.
• The names of ALL presenters must be included on this form.
• Presentations will not be considered if form is not completed in its entirety. Objectives MUST be included.
• The Academy strives to have a variety of topics and speakers for its convention and will attempt to utilize as many presenters as possible. However, submitting a presentation for consideration does not guarantee acceptance.
