Mike Rens had surgery to remove his ruptured appendix on Tuesday. We are thankful that God protected him from possibly more serious complications. Mike hopes to have returned home this past Friday.

Don and Verla Van Sloten returned home after getting the call that Don’s mom contracted pneumonia and has been placed on hospice care.

Ireton Christian School …Kids of the Kingdom

--KIDS OF THE KINGDOM LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS for the Ireton Christian Kids of the Kingdom Preschool. This would be in the classroom during February and March. Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 10:25-11. --BIENNIAL DORDT COLLEGE ORCHESTRA FESTIVALwill take place on Friday,February 9, at 7:00 pm in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. In addition to the Dordt Chamber Orchestra, three area high schools are participating in the festival: Le Mars Community, Unity Christian, and Western Christian. The concert will end with a mass orchestra consisting of more than 110 string players.
