ALAI’S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
We would like to remind you that the Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, and will be followed by a conference dinner with the theme “Recent Precedential Developments in Copyright.”

Cocktails and appetizers will be served at 6:00 PM. Dinner, with wine, will be served at 7:00 PM. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming a large turn-out.
The Annual General Meeting offers an excellent opportunity to remind you how important it is that you participate. Your association has different committees: special projects (conference); education and training; news and publications.
Members who would like to be nominated to one of the committees, and to participate more actively in the association, should make their interest known as quickly as possible.

The Barcelona workshops, with the theme Copyright and Freedom of Expression, will take place on June 19 and 20, 2006. We would like to remind you that the deadline for taking advantage of the preferential rate for the workshops is April 25, 2006.

For the third consecutive year, ALAI is offering creators’ associations the opportunity to benefit from continuing education that is free of charge and tailored to the respective association’s specific needs with regard to copyright.
