NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

February 14, 2017

Lincoln County, Washington

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in Lincoln County, State of Washington, with: Sprague School District No. 8, joint with Adams County No. 163; Almira School District No. 17; Ritzville School District No. 67, joint with Adams County No 160; Odessa School District No. 105, joint with Adams County No. 157 and Grant County No. 166;Wilbur School District No. 200;Public Hospital District No. 1. There will be held a Special LevyElection, conducted all by mail. The purpose of this election is to approve and adopt or to reject a local school or special district proposition or bond.

Registered voters residing in the above mentioned districts will be mailed a ballot on or about

January 25, 2017. You may obtain a replacement ballot at the Lincoln County Auditor’s office,

450 Logan, Davenport during regular business hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or on Election Day

8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The last day for mail or online voter registrationsand transfer or updates of an existing registrationwill be Monday, January 16, 2017. The last day for in-person registration (for an individual who is eligible and is not currently registered in Washington State) is February 6, 2017 at the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office, 450 Logan, Davenport, WA, or

24-hour Secure Ballot Boxes are available at the following locations through 8:00 p.m. Election Day: Lincoln County Courthouse East Parking Lot, 450 Logan, Davenport and Harrington City Hall, 11 S. 3rd Street, Harrington. If you prefer to mail your ballot, please remember to affix first class postage and assure that it is postmarked by Election Day, February 14, 2017.

A Disability Access Unit is available at the Auditor’s office during regular business hours 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning January 25, 2016; through Election Day, February 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you have questions, call (509)725-4971.

CANVASSING BOARD MEETINGS: The Canvassing Board of Lincoln County will hold an open public meeting February 24, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office, 450 Logan, Davenport, WA to certify the election results.
