NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – TRANSPORTATION AMENDMENTS

On Tuesday, March 27, the Florence Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pmin the Council Chambers of City Hall, 250 Highway 101regarding proposed Comprehensive Plan and city code amendments relating to transportation. The public hearing will be preceded by a work session at 6:00 pm that is open the public.

Resolution PC 12 06 CPA 02 & PC 12 07 TA 02 will update the Florence Transportation System Plan, including the Municipal Airport Master Plan and Community Transit Plan, and adopt associated Comprehensive Plan and city code amendments. The Draft Transportation System Plan being considered by the Planning Commission has been recommended by the Transportation Project Advisory Committee which met eight times since July 2010 and held an Open House on February 1, 2012.
