NOTICE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR

REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR CIVIL WORKS IN FACTORY AND TOWNSHIP

Ref: BHEL/JHS/ FCX/11-12/08C

Sealed applications in prescribed format are invited from experienced contractors for registration for following category of works which are carried out regularly in factory area as well as in Township:

Application Forms can be downloaded from BHEL website www.bhel.com/list_tenders/index.php or purchased on any working day from the office of the undersigned at a cost of Rs 227/- (Rs. 200 + VAT @ 13.5%) (nonrefundable) in the form of Demand Draft to be made in favour of BHEL Jhansi payable at Jhansi. Last date for obtaining application forms is 16/06/2011, 3:00 PM. In case the application form is downloaded from web-site, the applicant should submit their application along with demand draft of Rs 227/- for the cost of application. The application for registration in the prescribed Performa duly filled in and completed in all respects, should reach by hand/ post/courier before 17/06 /2011, 1:15 PM.

BHEL reserves the right to accept/reject all/any application(s) without assigning any reason whatsoever. For further details please refer to the website mentioned above.

The Contractor who are already registered with BHEL Jhansi in specific Category may not need to further apply.

The performance of registered contractors shall be evaluated after three years. The contractor will be required to submit supporting documents as and when required to continue their registration. Further BHEL may, at its discretion, invite open tenders for carrying out works and the registered contractors shall have to compete with any other contractors who bid for these works. No preferential treatment shall be given to registered contractors during evaluation of price bids.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS FOR FILLING UP THE FORM

1.  The form should be filled neatly without any overwriting and all details required should be submitted along with the application form.

2.  Applicant must furnish following details along with application

(i)  Copies of valid registration with statutory authorities viz, PF, ESI, Service Tax and Labour license (in case of 20 or more workers).

(ii) Details of organization and Name (s) of the Owner/ Partners/Promoters and Directors

(ii)  Details of Annual Turn-Over and copies of Audited Balance Sheets & I.T.Returns for last 3

years.(year - 08-09, 09-10, 10-11)

(iv)  Registration with Central Govt./ State Govt./ PSUs./ Panchayat / other civic bodies

(v)  Detail of works that have been executed completely during last 3 financial years (08-09, 09-10, 10-11) along with performance report from the principal employer. Incomplete works shall not be considered in evaluation for eligibility.

(vi)  Detail of major projects/ works in hand.

(vii)  Qualification detail of applicant/ owner/ partners/ promoters/ employees.

(viii)  Major equipments owned by the applicant.

(ix)  Self disclosures regarding litigations, liquidated damages, disqualifications pending legal cases etc.

(x)  Self certificate that contractor will abide by all statutory & regulatory obligations while carrying out works at BHEL Jhansi .

(xi)  PAN and service tax (PAN based) TIN No.

5.  All applications shall be submitted in the tender box placed at ADM Building CISF Security Gate up to 13:15 hours on 17/06/2011. Applications received late, shall not be entertained.
