1. Introduction

The format of the full manuscriptis illustrated in this template, designed for the preparation of your paper. Full manuscripts will be published in the Agglos10 proceedings with either a USB flash memory stick or a compact diskthat will be distributed to all registered participants.The Agglos10 Organizing Committee does NOT reserve the copyright for all manuscripts.

Please use this template with Microsoft Word when preparing your manuscript. This will ensure a uniform format in the publication. Manuscripts should be written in English. Replace the sample title, author listing, author affiliations, designated corresponding author’s email address, and text in this template with your information.

Carefully read the instructions described below and view the Model Full Manuscriptbefore preparing and submitting your full manuscript.

2. Experimental Methods

The manuscript heading spans both columns and must contain the paper title, names and affiliations of all authors, and email address of the designated corresponding author. Author names that are not included in the manuscript will not appear in the program guide.

3. Results and Discussion

The manuscript body is in two-column format and must include the following subjects: Introduction, Experimental Methods (and/or Theory if necessary), Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Acknowledgments are optional but recommended.The manuscript must include data and tables and/or figures (clearly presented) to support the data.

4. Conclusion

When the full manuscript is complete and accurate (please proof carefully), convert the manuscript to .pdfformat. Both Microsoft Word file and .pdf file of the manuscript must be submitted to a email.No other forms of submission will be accepted.The deadline of the full manuscript submission is June 30, 2013.

Acknowledgment of submission will be emailed to the author designated as the primary contact.

5. Acknowledgements

The criterion for acceptance of presentation at the Agglos10 is based on an anonymous peer-review process. A panel of academic experts will review all manuscripts. The author must obtain the necessary permissions prior to submission of the manuscript.

The Agglos10 Program Committee reserves the right to evaluate, accept, or reject manuscripts that do not meet minimum requirements, as outlined below. The committee may also switch manuscripts to any topic category based on their evaluation and organization requirements.

The committee will determine the placement of accepted manuscripts for podium or poster presentation. Notification of acceptance of a manuscript for presentation will be sent in July10to the designated presenting author.

If the manuscript is accepted, the designated presenting author must register and pay the fee by July 31, 2013,for the Agglos10, September 2–4, 2013, in Kobe, Japan, and must agree to present the paper at the symposium. If the designated presenting author is not registered, the full manuscript will be withdrawn and will not be included in the program.

All manuscripts submitted to the Agglos10 will go through a review procedure to maintain the scientific quality of the symposium. Submitted manuscripts must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Written in clear English
  2. Few syntax/spelling mistakes
  3. Sufficient data presented, adequately analyzed and discussed with appropriate conclusions supported by the data
  4. Meets format guidelines
  5. Contains data and tables and figures, clearly presented, to support the data

  1. Select “A4” (210 297 mm) in Page Setup. Set margins (left and right, top and bottom) to 25 mm.
  2. Accepted font is 10.5 point Times New Roman.
  3. Title is in bold type and centered across the page. Do not capitalize the entire title
  4. Author names are centered and identified with number superscripts to correspond to author affiliations. Underline the designated presenting author’s name. Add asterisk to the corresponding author’s name.
  5. Author affiliations are centered and identified with number superscripts to correspond to the respective author name; include the designated corresponding author’s email address.
  6. Keywords: Provide up to 5 keywords, separated by semi-colons.
  7. Manuscript body alignment is justified with the first line of each paragraph indented6.3 mm.
  8. Manuscript body format is two-column (82.5 mm per column) with 12.7 mm between columns.
  9. Include one line of space between the title and the name(s) of the author(s) and between author name(s) and affiliation(s).
  10. Include one line of space between the keyword(s) and sections.
  11. Manuscript must be 2 pagesas demonstrated in the Model Full Manuscript.
  12. References must be numbered; there are no lines of space between references.
