  1. Minutes from September 2017 approved.
  1. Treasure’s Report –
  1. Approximately $47,000 between checking/savings
  2. $17,868 income(this includes $10,000 summer ice, sponsorship for ads and locker room donations)
  3. Expenses for raffle were approximately $2750
  4. Motion to approve Oct treasure report passed.
  5. Taxes are done Brian just needs to sign off on it.
  1. Program Ads - Nelson
  2. Review of current program Ads secured, approximately $4500 at the current time. Many board members are working on selling ads and some are there are still some pending ads.
  3. Karl and Gary will work on remaining contacts that have placed ads in prior years.
  4. Timeline – Need program finished by the end of November, need to have ads to school by November 13.
  5. Coach Manney contacted Anoka Hennepin print shop to help us determine timeline. Karl will work with them to ensure communication is happening to keep the process moving forward.
  6. Brian created a spreadsheet on google doc which has allowed the board to track ad contacts including their contact information which will help for next year’s efforts.
  1. Team Apparel – Hemme
  2. Jody is working with Brandon (captain) on choosing team apparel. Warm up for lulu lemon $180, Under Armor $135.
  3. Plan is to offer one warm up outfit. Need to get samples for boys to try on after team gets picked.
  4. Pine City contact will do embroidering and offer other clothing options for family or hockey players to choose.
  5. A motion was made by Garyon October 8, 2017 to vote by email on what the mandatory team apparel will be. Motion approved.
  6. A motion was made on October 9, 2017 to set a prince range of $85 -$100 consistent with prior years for mandatory team apparel that will be determined by the captain. Motion approved by board via email.
  1. Captain’s Practice –
  2. Registration is ready to go. The cost will be $250 per player. Practice will begin October 23, 2017 and end Thursday November 9, 2017. Captain’s Practice will be Monday – Thursday from 8:50-10:20 at ACC. Nicole will work on launching registration in upcoming week.
  1. Parent Meeting
  2. Looking at November for parent meeting. Coach Manney will work with Brian to determine a date. Questions on whether to ACIC part of the meeting. It was determined that ACIC would not conduct committee sign up during parent meeting but rather wait until after team is determined.
  3. ACIC needs to determine what committees will be needed.
  1. Locker Room Improvements – Coach Manney

  3. To date approximately $28,600 in donation for locker room.
  4. Progress is going well, lockers are in and the corner shelving is done. Finishing work should be done by end of week and then hardware will be installed. Mural will be installed in upcoming week. The mezzanine will be installed when it is ready and meets city codes.

  3. Jerseys were ordered and should be ready mid-November. Cost for skater jersey’s $111, goalie jersey’s $116 and Sock’s $12. Total $5500 (includes patches and black socks too). District will pay $4600 toward that amount.
  4. Gatorade will be ordered for season for a total cost of $210.
  5. Hockey workstation is being ordered as budgeted for this year. Coach Manney is working on a quote with the company to determine actual cost. $2500 was budgeted.
