Currently, we have a Part Time position open. This job is perfect for working parents looking for some flexibility, while still making a positive difference in patients’ lives and a good income.

Additionally, we have a Full Time Physician vacancy opening in the next year. The Full Time position would be 3 or 4 days, which would allow you time to work in private practice, research, or at a University if you desired that flexibility.Fulfillment of this post is not time-sensitive.

Position Summary:

·Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific research

·Establishes plan of care and implements interventions in accordance with protocols, standards of care, and current research

·Provides early pregnancy loss evaluation and management

·Provides first trimester surgical and medical abortion care

·Provides second trimester surgical abortion care

·Performs post-abortion follow-up care

·Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, and self

·Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management

·Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review

·Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients

·Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers

·Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment

·Participate in efforts to achieve established goals for productivity

The Medical Director provides clinical supervision, and the President and Managing Director provide operational supervision. Position would involve travel to all three Northland Family Planning locations, all within the Detroit Metro area.Physicians are hired as independent contractors, but compensation is excellent.
